Strain name: Power skunk

Seed bank/Breeder: G13 labs

Genetics:
75% sativa unlisted genetics

Seeds: idicate markings, colour and size of seeds. as well as germ rate if possible

Created/Grown in: 2009

Grow type:
indoor/soil:cfls and flouros for veg, 400w hps for flowering

Nutrients:
"Age old organic" brand grow(12-6-6) and bloom nutes(10-5-10) and molasses.

Start/Weeks in veg:
4

Finish:
10.5

Height:
25"

Yield:
29g

Characteristics:
Very fast outta the gate. Grows long sativa branches that clone fairly easily. Not ideal for SOG due to the extensive stretching during flowering. Produced big fluffy buds
Does not like many nutes or changes in temps. I fed every 3rd watering instead of my usual every other watering
Smelt like musky pine but cured to a herby earthy smell. Smooth smoke with a nice soaring high
Not bad for free seeds if you got them from the tude

Strain name: Purple Rhino

Seed bank/Breeder: Dr. Load

Genetics:
55% indica / 45% sativa A freak purple pheno of a white rhino, the plants have been extensively inbred and back-crossed to maximise the purple colouration by Dr. Load and the beans i have are f5's

Seeds: idicate markings, colour and size of seeds. as well as germ rate if possible

Created/Grown in: year grown

Grow type:
Never run outdoors before, inside does well in soil and i expect even better in hydro.

Nutrients: I used fox farm nutrients and i think she is a hungry girl, Fed at full strength and added sweet, purple maxxx, bushmaster, gravity and molasses.

Start/Weeks in veg:
Veged to long and cramped to tight in bloom, 4 weeks from rooted clones

Finish:
Finishes bloom in 55 days for a high % of amber trichs and a couch lock stone.

Height:
Mine are about 3', stretch roughly doubles during budding but bushmaster is a great product and was used to minimize stretch to 6"-12"

Yield:
My plants yield 1.5-2.5 ounces each. Indoor 450-500gM 2 / Outdoor 500g + per plant

Characteristics: Super purple color despite temperature being quite high, Very resinous and has a unique "Spicy grape" smell and flavor

Photographs:
Plants pictured are from current grow and are 5 weeks into bloom, purple color is not showing true due to HPS lighting. I will try to get better shots in a more natural light.

Strain name: Purple Wreck

Seed bank/Breeder: Reserva Privada

Genetics: Purple Urkle x Train Wreck

Seeds: So far all have germinated - One germinated, but seemed somewhat stunted & was killed off.

Grown in: 2010

Grow type: indoor - Roots Coco Soilless Medium under 2 - 1000w Hortilux Super HPS on a Light Mover 3.5

Nutrients: Humboldt Nutrients Master A & B program for drain-to-waste. Again, I rotated between Moderate & Heavy programs and they seemed to like it. On my soilless I feed Heavy/Moderate/Pure H20 in a repeating process.

Start/Weeks in veg: 5 weeks - tied down to remain under 1' in veg

Finish: I pulled them at 8 weeks with mostly clear & some cloudy trichs. I know they would have purpled up more with another week, but didn't want the "heavier" stone of waiting another week.

Height: 3'

Yield: Unsure - don't weigh my plants. Also, a fair assessment can not be had because I lost a major branch half way through bloom, will update this entry when I grow her out again :)

Characteristics: BEAUTIFUL plant. TONS of trichomes starting at week three. LOVELY smell/taste.

Method of Consumption: Volcano - taste was musty berry funk with a nice sweetness on the exhale

High: When pulled at 8 weeks, high was pleasantly cerebral with a nice mellow body stone. Very enjoyable & Definitely a keeper!

Strain name: Power Plant feminised ( go with the regular cus they aint worth the "will they hermi, wont they stress gig"

Seed bank/Breeder:
Dutch Passion

Genetics:
indy/sat mix primarily sat.

Seeds: looked puny.. more flat than round

Grown in:
2010

Grow type:
indoor soil

Nutrients:
biobizz grow n bloom and canna bio rhizotinc, molasses

Start/Weeks in veg:
8 weeks or so

Finish:
8 weeks

Height:
just under 5ft (put into 12/12 at 2ft high)

Yield:
to be weighed but opinion is around 2.25 dry per plant. will confirm in a week or so.

Characteristics:
very easy to grow, can take shed loads of nutes with no obvious effects, very hard to mistreat/mess up. stretch is the one thing that got me, had to tie 3 down as run out of space.. most stretched just over twice the height before 12/12 and one doubled.. the one that double had the longest single cola which when chopped revealed loads of tight buds.. cola length around 18".

Pics..
link to journal.. awesome grow.. highly recommended..

Strain name: Purple Kush

Seed bank/Breeder:
Seeds came from an oz I got at my store...

Genetics:
indica

Seeds: lovely chestnut brown with strong typically indica spots, healthy size

Created/Grown in:
Feb 2 to June 21 2010 total 170 days

Grow type:
indoors I used Terra-cotta pots filled with a tropical potting soil mix, 2 -48 T-8s for the veggie stage and a 430 watt Phillips Son/Agro bulb for flowering

Nutrients:
Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow Veg and Flower formulas.

Start/Weeks in veg:
I soaked 4 seeds in wet paper towel for 3 days then on Feb 2nd the sprouts were put into the ground. The plants were FIMed on March 13th

Finish:
I changed them over to 12/12 on the April 19th and on June 21st, got out my scissors and harvested. 2 of the 3 plants had been FIM'd. The FIM'd plants produced a total of 20 beautiful upright colas though a bit fluffy probably due to excessive heat...

Height:
average height of the plants were 15 inches

Yield:
Wet weight from 3 plants was 452g.
Dry weight after 3 weeks is 82.3g or just under 3 oz.1.4 oz of dry weight from 1 plant

Characteristics:
Purple Kush plants are fairly easy to grow. They respond very well to the FIM technique and produce some awesome medication. I lollipopped them pretty seriously and also used LST. I believe I have been rewarded with some very potent product. Be careful with the temperature at the tops. I had it up in the low 90's and I think the buds are less dense because of it.

2nd GP Harvest Festival Competition Entry

Strain name: Purple Pineberry

Seed bank/Breeder:
Secret Valley Seeds

Genetics:
Mostly Indica

Seeds: minimum amount of black spots, light brown color, and small. 2-3 days germination.

Grown in:
2010

Grow type:
indoor, hydro (ebb and flow), 1000w, 3 x 3 tray, 40/50 gallon res.

Nutrients:
General Hydroponics Flora Series, MgS, CNS17, MgS w/ (Glucose, Sucrose) Solution, and Seaplex. Generally I use 65 % of label recommendations with GH flora and basically follow the 3-2-1, 1-1-1, and 1-2-3 plan. The solutions will last 2-3 weeks with the addition of some Epson salt (MgS) per 40/50 gallon res. At three weeks to finish I go to 300-600ml CNS17 per 40 gallon, 30 ml (MgS, Dextrose, Sucrose) solution per 40 gallon, 20ml Seaplex per 40 gallon, 10ml GH Micro per 40 gallon. The “finishing” solution is diluted 50 percent after 1 week, then ran for one more week, than 4-5 days Glucose/Sucrose (10 percent solution) @ ~ 2000 ml per 40 gallons.

Start/Weeks in veg:
To grow a three/four foot plant budded; veg time is 6 weeks @ 20 -28 inches.

Finish:
50 or 55 days under a 12/12 light regimen including transition.

Height:
3-4 feet

Yield:
6 oz plus - dried weight per plant.

Characteristics:
Susceptible to both grey mold and powdery mildew. Growing environment needs to be well controlled to manage this. Short Stocky hardy plant but I did not get much purple out of this one. It is good to trim inside of plant well, after stretch, to focus large bud growth. Un-topped plants perform better. The stone is powerful and the plant is worth baby sitting through completion. I enjoyed a 2-3 hour red eye high smoking off a doobie. There is no ceiling to speak of and no tolerance either. I have three guys on this for 3 months and its a high everytime multiple times a day :)

2nd GP Harvest Festival Competition Entry

Strain name: Purple Urkle

Seed bank/Breeder:
cutting only

Genetics:
indica hybrid, Danny Danko says it is one of the Purps phenos (High Times).

Seeds: N/A

Grown in:
2010

Grow type:
outdoor/greenhouse in 5' x 24' raised beds

Nutrients:
Soil: Horse manure, chicken manure, compost, soft rock phosphate, tiger99 sulfur, gypsum, Epsom salt, oyster shell meal, bone meal, crushed black charcoal, sand, & original earth from the site.

Liquid: VEG - Old Age Grow, Compost Tea brewed for vegetation, Sea Weed , Kelp, and Micro Hume (Leonardite) & Black Strap Molasses.

Flower – Old Age Bloom, Compost Tea brewed for bloom, Epsom Salt, Black Strap Molasses.

Flush 2wks molasses only

Start:
March 7th, 2010

Finish:
October 7th, 2010

Height:
8'

Yield:
2 3/4 lbs (The yield cold have been a little more, but we took huge amounts of wind damage prior to the greenhouse plastic being installed, and our average daily humidity was around 20%.)

Characteristics:
This particular cutting of Purple Urkle ,we have been growing for about three years. Unlike any of it's siblings; the Purps, Purple Flattop, and the triplets, Urkle, Murkle, and Durkle; which are full indica's and definitely show such characteristics, our cutting was a sativa cross hybrid. She grows like a super sativa. As far as growth characteristics she grew identical to Pineapple Express, except she only approves of moderate feedings. We have about 3 years experience with the Purps phenos prior to this cutting. During veg and the first few weeks of flower, canopy management is a must, because she stretches up to, and often beyond, week 4 flower. This same scenario happens in our indoor as well. However, she has the same dank grape smell of her kin, even though it doesn't seem to be as overwhelming (shame). In our circle of friends, the Purps and kin were never known as high yielding, especially when compared to Afghani Goo; but this cutting has consistently yielded more than previous cuttings. We also feel this is at sacrifice to quality of the medicine, again when compared to her kin. The taste is the infamous grape soda, nice and smooth. When she is smoked, she leaves you with a wonderful head change, without affecting your ability to function). In medible form she will leave you curled up on the floor in fetal position ( 4 cookies )... the cookies were so good, I (Spencer) forgot about titration. She makes some dank bubble, but sieved... the aroma, arouses any nose within reach!
