Hey all, been awhile since i've dropped in.Hope all is well with y'all.

I am getting ready to start some auto's just until I get my room figured out.

I am wondering if you can top autos to get more colas or do they not have enough time in veg to recover?

I haven't been able to find a definitive answer.

Thanks, Blue

Hi, Blue61!

According to my experience topping autoflowering plants leads to less yield.

Had this once as I topped 1 out of 5 autos by accident, and got some micro-buds.

Hey Blue, long time no see!

It's kind of a tough call, because there are so many different strains of autos now. Some of them only veg long enough to get about 18 inches tall, while others veg longer and tend to be referred to as "early sativa's". Certainly, the longer veging strains would be more likely to benefit from topping than the shorter ones, but it really comes down to trial and error.

they flower so early that they don't have time to recover and then produce smaller buds
