           Greetings fellow gardeners, I am about to begin an organic vertical scrog adventure

    using   Greenhouse Seeds    :laughleaf:   Super Silver Haze

A little something about myself, I have about 6 years growing as a medical patient; this will be my 1st organic attempt. I was running recirculating DWC for the last few years with great results. Anyways I'd love to hear what ya think

   drums.gif  and..............here we go

  details of my grow are as follows

Soil      10-11 gallon batch  {let set up 30-60 days}

7.5    Gallons Peat  {wet, not soaked}

1.5    Gallons Worm Castings

1.5    Gallons Buffalo Compost

2-3    Gallons Perlite {coarse}

2/3    Cup Dolomite Lime    ~ biochar and my RO water raise my PH, so using less lime

1/2    Cup Blood Meal

1       Cup Bone Meal

1       Cup Azomite

1       Cup Glacial Rock Dust

5       Cups Biochar

1/4    Cup Alfalfa Meal

1/4    Cup Crab Meal

1/2    Cup Kelp Meal

2       Tsp Humic Acid

1/4    Cup Greensand

1/4    Cup Mycoz

I have 80 gallons of this mixed already, just waiting on the soil to break down

Feeding shouldn't be necessary during veg, just clean RO water and a shot of molasses from time to time.

I plan on at least 1 good tea per week in flower cycle,  my roommate is currently building a vortex compost brewer, I will be sure to post pics when its finished.

I will be growing in 25 gallon bags, hoping for some real monsters    actionleaf.gif

I will update with photos in the next day or two

Heres inside my 6x6 tent, I will be adding another wall fan on the other side; the one fan didn't have the hardware in the box so I'm waiting on parts. The can fan is located under the 1k hps there is about 12 inches of movement possible with this setup, but I doubt it moves much at all

Thought I would explain my tent fan setup, it's simple and works great.

I have fans mounted on a 1x4 board cost $2  Attached File  Optimized-DSC_5605.JPG   717.25KB   0 downloads

I used zip ties on the top and bottom, it actually makes the tent stronger if done correctly

So this is a stealth grow, the plan is to have a tent with veggies growing as a hidden door

Attached File  Optimized-DSC_5609.JPG   791.54KB   0 downloads this is the basement corner that leads to the stealth room, notice that it looks to be in front of a solid wall. but this tent actually leads into a 7x14 foot room

Looks good! Im in for this :D  One thing if I may, I believe you will get better results with a Tea or two in veg (or flower) than none at all regardless of your soil..especially a alfalfa tea a bit into veg and again before flower...cheap TCN... Top dressing with bat poo and wood ash later in flower seem popular too.  :D

post-23637-0-35741900-1427325315_thumb.j                    Heres the completed vortex brewer

post-23637-0-43347200-1427325417_thumb.j                    Thing runs on just an air pump, the smaller 1" pvc pressurizes the trap forcing the water up the 2" pvc

post-23637-0-27816500-1427325525_thumb.j post-23637-0-88395400-1427325629_thumb.j                  The result is a constantly cycling vortex, kinda like a toilet flush

             Brewing my 1st batch tonight, using seabird guano, buffalo loam, worm castings, molasses, and humic acid

      Supposedly vortexing takes only 24 hours as opposed to the 48 hour with the airstone method. I will let ya know how it goes

Sounds good in theory anyway, just be sure and keep your brew in the dark and preferably cool to help keep any unwanted critters from growing in it. :rooting:
