Yeah I suppose not, I guess I was just expecting it earlier since my gear comes from the uk in like a week,. I was kinda scared when I saw it went like 150 miles north but who knows. I know most people recommend fox farms soil but would it be okay to use something from walmart or lowes? From what I understand its the nutes in stuff like miracle grow that aren't good so early in the plants life.

To be blatantly honest... good luck finding nutrientless soils at wally world and the depot. I tried, at least around me, it ain't easy to accomplish. That being said, I'm really loving the Roots Organic stuff. If you can find that stuff... you'll have a good couple of weeks worth of lovely time with it.

I just cant order anything and there are no hydro shops within a 100 mile radius of me so im stuck with walmart or lowes soil. and I have like no money so its gotta be cheap. I know most people hate on miracle grow but theres a lotta guys that say their organic line works fine, so maybe i will look into that.

You can use the MG soil but you must use something like Jiffy pellets http://www.homedepot...-5048/202563420 To start the seeds and don't transplant till the roots start coming out of the pellet.

Thank you for the advice guys. I will get some jiffy pellets and soil tomorrow and I will be starting my log on Wednesday when I get back from a short trip. I decided I will run 1 auto assassin, 1 diesel Ryder, and either auto northern lights or afghan kush ryder. I'm torn between the two.

Well I popped my seeds in some wet paper towels. I decided on a afghan kush ryder, diesel ryder, auto assasin, and an easy ryder in a small pot just to see what it looks like. now just gotta wait  boring.gif

Got seeds in jiffy pellets. Temp is right when I turned my box on so it should go up a bit. I will start a log as soon as they pop up

Thanks guys. Had a quick question. My easy Ryder seedling grew its little tail up above the soil and curled back down. Maybe I didn't plant it deep enough but the tail was exposed to light for at least 5 hours. Is this going to kill my little seed or do you think it'll be okay?

It's normal....those are the embryonic leaves food for the real leaves when they first come out, no nutrient necessary.

Must keep dome lid closed for 100% humidity...necessary.
