Not sure how to react to this, I've had my hopes up before only to be disappointed.

Adults in NY would be able to grow up to 6 plants under this law if passed. guitar.gif

It sounds hopeful but the devil is in the details. How the bill is worded is important and what kind of amendments are stuck in it can make it ineffective. Watching them make sausage will be needed along with letting them know when they are going in the wrong direction loudly and quickly will be a necessity.

When the bill is released I will read it front to back to check for those exact things. I know they like to do that and it's sad that they do but I guess I can take this as a step in the proper direction. actionleaf.gif

In Ohio, I am more encouraged by the work that the Ohio Rights Group is doing, and the constitutional amendment we're trying to pass, than I am by any attempt at legalization started by our legislator. Government of the people, by the people and for the people really only occurs when those laws are passed that way - BY the people! So glad I never became a politician, I cherish my soul way too much to have sold it for so little a price.

However, if "professional legislation" is your only hope, hound your legislators - knock on their door, call them up, flood their email "inbox" - until such time as they are actually willing to listen to you! Best of luck!! :)
