These pictures are of the Pineapple Kush. I hope you all can see her flowering, and how well she is recovering from the tobacco juice damage. Lot's of new growth on her

Okay, now finally. I aplogize for forgetting to post Alien OG pic's last time. i was smoking X-J13, and it really spaced me out, lol. So I missed it. Alien OG, or Droopy, her huge fan leaves are fading, but her buds are huge. she is a frosty girl too. Also at the same stage as Pog, and with Rom following shortly after, it should be a great winter.

Here is a few group photo's, remember they are "free range" plant's and I let them roam around outside of the cage most days. Any comments are welcome, and all of you have a good day(s).

Gooood Morrrrning Green Passion!
Well here I am back to posting on my journal. Things have actually been kinda quiet this week. There is progress with all the plants, but nothing overwhelming. I will post a few pic's, maybe a few close-ups if'n I can rig up the camera with the binocular lenz.
Droopy and Pog are getting fatter, as well as the Rom. Morph1 is the most incredible plant I have ever watched grow (more on this later), and PK has shed almost all of her damaged leaves, and the new growth is predominant throughout. She looks spindly, with small leaves but long branches, she looks like a Sativa now, and is still stretching. I have raised the fence as far as it will go, and she is pushing the limits of THAT. She may end up with her own cage, but I don't want the others to be offended. I will see how I can swing that.
I have also come up with a low cost security alarm, and I feel so stupid because it is so simple. I have these little bells I use on my fishing poles when we fish in the delta (not my favorite kind of fishing, but it IS fishing), and Fiona uses them when we fish the trout lakes of the Sierra's (our favorite kind of fishing). So these bells jingle with the slightest bit of movement. I do believe that if a bite off a fishing rod will jingle the bell, then someone trying to figure out the labrynth of cage/cloth/clamps/baling wire/darkness, certainly should wake the house. Then I will run outside and spray the intruders with cold water, then follow the drips, lol. Nice thought anyway, yes? Okay so I will post more when I get done with them today. I am going to try my best so GP can see the form and color of all the Trichomes on each plant.

Well Everyone I am back as promised, but better late than never. I have to throw these all up, but I don't know which is which, except the last four are morph1. Also I think the first one is of Pog. Enjoy, and let me know what you think, as always.

Headline: POG GETS THE AX!
by Schrek Wannabawriter

In a reported backyard incident. a one Purple Ocean Grown has met her demise by way of "axing." Purple Ocean Grown (or POG), was 26 inches tall, dark green with three petaled leaves, no five petals as most of her kind have. Could this be the reason for her early exit? Read on, and you be the judge.
Apparently "axing" is the removal of ones lower extremities from its upper. This is a brutal slaying, no doubt about it. It is said by an individual known only as "Eek" that protocol would require after separation the more dexterous job of removing smaller digits into a bowl so a "miss Fiona," may create a supposed root balm, and other essences. "Miss Fiona" is obviously an alias for some sort of witchcraft conjurer. More on this event later, as we receive more updates.

Good Morning peeps of GP.
Medi, Desi, thank you for your comment. I do fancy myself a satrical sort of writer. I have always been able to get a few chuckles by way of pen. Although I do carry over my satirical point of view in person, my humor is much drier and I am a bit more pessimistic in reality. However I do think that mentally my writing is therapeutic. I have always had problems with ADD, and writing has always been easier for me because I can analyze my thoughts and put them in order. Not so when I am thinking and speaking at the same time. I listen to people talk and I am thinking of my reply before they finish their words. It is being rude, imo, to do this. But sometimes I cannot help it, especially when it is someone I don't really care for, yet must interact with for some specific reason.
Okay so now this is why I mentioned this. A few years ago, when I went through my divorce, I did about 6 months of therapy with a psychologist. She then talked (over time) to me about ADD, meth, and marijuana. We found out a few things about me. Meth to me (not that I use, not since 1994), seemed to make me feel normal, and not amped. Sativa makes me feel normal after the initial headrush, therefore i tend to like indica. Indica, gets me stoned, and sleepy. It slows me down enough that thoughts just don't race around in my head, and I can form actual thoughts that are more than just one-liners. I do love the smell and taste of sativas, and of course I do smoke them, but if I am donating for something, it will be either indica or indica dominant. Also, I can't tell you how many times I thought I got burn't on a deal, just because I got real sativa, instead of what I needed. So before I got my recommendation I didn't know much about strain names, or hybrids. So bringing all this information into play, I am saying that the medical community, has better educated me so I may medicate myself more to my specific needs.

Moving on
I will keep you waiting no longer. I told you all that I had good news. Well, yesterday when I was tending the garden, taking pictures etc., I saw (and confirmed by Fiona), PURPLE color on Morph. Now my opinion on "purple" is that most of them are purple just so the sell well. To me, purple usually means not as potent. Of course there are exceptions, but having a little variety in my garden is okay with me. Not to mention that it just makes her look real pretty. Here are some pics. It is hard to tell from the pics, but maybe just maybe you can see.

Attached File  Morphpurp5.jpg   161.44KB   18 downloadsAttached File  Morphpurp4.jpg   217.52KB   25 downloadsAttached File  Morphpurp3.jpg   237.68KB   24 downloadsAttached File  MorphPurp2.jpg   192.78KB   24 downloadsAttached File  Morphpurp1.jpg   264.96KB   19 downloads

So let me know if you see purple. Any other comments are welcomed. Next post will be the rest of the pics.

Okay I am here to post the rest of the pics of the girls. One more note on Morph, the reason I get so excited about her, if'n you remember, is because I have no idea what strain she is. Eeeeek! Hanging Justice! LMAO I'm happy to see that in spite of the need for justice, POG will still give you some wonderful medicine. About that mystery plant, I do see a bit of purple on the bud in the one pic. Still a mystery, and I'm sure not the one to even try to identify the strain. However, since it's tall rather than bushy, slender leaves for the most part, and the flowers growing mostly close to the main stems, it looks like it may be sativa dominant. I know this for sure.......it's definitely cannabis!

I just did some research and looked at as many purple strains as I could to compare. I still can't tell, and if I think I could, I would at best only be guessing. When I am done with her, I am going to see a person who is reputable at a coop I know, and see if he could take a guess. The buds on her are the most dense of all the girls I have. and the purp is in the petals of the flower. I don't have a way of getting a closer shot at her, plus I shake a little, so getting a decent shot is 50/50. I delete half the pictures as is, lol.

Bye for now (Bfn)

Oh crap, I knew there was something I forgot to cover. My son just moved up north to attend school, and is now living with my sister. Which means we have a spare bedroom at the moment. We will be downsizing after the harvest(s), so I am using that room to hang Pog, and subsequently the others will follow.
Her is my set up, Temperature is about 75f degrees. I have a fan in the main part of the room, pointed to one end of the closet, about a foot or so lower than the buds. The sliding doors are open about four inches on each end, and the lights are off. When I stand in the closet with the same conditions, I feel a slight breeze at my knees, two foot lower than the lowest bud. The breeze feels like what I might get under a door if air circulates into a vented room. At night we open the window, and the temps are in the sixties. relative humidity is in the 60% or so range, but maybe fluctuates with the delta breezes, and humidity at night.

Are there any adjustments I need to attend to?

I will keep her there until the stems snap, the bud dry to the touch externally, but a tiny bit moist on the inside. Then I will start the cure process, with airtight gallon jars. They are cherry jars from the restaurant I work at. They are not airtight, but will be when I get done with them. Burping will be applied as needed.
Anything else besides general consumption?

Bfn

remember that the longer the cure the better the bud. I recommend 3 weeks. You can open the tubs when the humidity is high to rehydrate them if things get too dry.

Okay Everybody, I have just stepped it up a level here for my health. I just received my new vaporizer in the mail today. It is burning off the newness, then I will shut it off for ten, and fire it back up again to about 320 degrees and start from there. Wish me luck.
Pog is in a jar. My newness at this is showing. I hung her up expecting for her to hang for a week. On day four before I left for work the buds were nice and tight, and the stem kinda bent, but didn't snap. So I checked when I got home and the buds were airy dry and brittle. Hrumph! So for the last two days then have been in a jar with my world famous remoisturizing method. I use this when I get herb that is too dry. In smaller jars of course. With my herb, I cut off the bottom of a q-tip and get the top of it wet. I then stick it down in the jar with the fuzz not touching anything. By morning my herb is semi moist again. With Pog in a gallon size jar, I put in a little tube of water, open end up so it won't spill, to add moisture. It has taken two days, but the nuggets are firming back up a little, and the buds are at a little more acceptable level I think. I tried to follow all of y'alls orders on this, but Pog was just too small of a plant I guess, and dried out quicker that I thought. I still have four more to get it right. Plus, I took her a little early so Fiona could make her magic medicine.
Update on the grow tomorrow.

Bfn,
Eek

Hello all you green people,
I thought I would give a short update on my grow. PK is really coming along well. She is still spindly, but her buds are growing really well. I might get a yield out of her yet. She has stopped getting taller, to my liking. I was worried I might have to let her out of the cage but now she is just working on maturing.
Alien is super-dank. I think I could take her now, but I am interested in her growth over the next week or so. She has 1/4 amber trich's, but I am looking for half or more. I am not going to wait too long, but I want to see her swell a few more days or so at least. If I get my 30x magnifier, I will show pic's, I hope.
With Romulan, she is close behind. I am still wanting to see more swelling also, and the hairs to receed into the growth of the bud. She has a few trichomes that are amber. I really like the smell on her. I am not sure of her lineage (which I will look up), but she has some kind of smell I remember from way back, Perhaps Afghan?
What can I say about Morph1. Just the most awesome plant ever. Along with the purple color in the buds, She also has purple trichomes (as seen on my 60-100x microscope). It looks like purple sugar dust all over her. Awesome, did I say awesome? She looks good enough to eat. Also, there are about 1/3 more trichomes on her than all of the others. Super Morph1.

I will post pics tomorrow.

Well I guess Fiona kinda sorta gave you all a hint. Droopy (AlienOG) has been pulled. she was just sorta in limbo, 1/3 amber trichomes. So I have her hanging. She is also getting a cooler push from the Delta at night, it's been in the fifty's. I am not gonna let her go for as long as I did Pog. As soon as she's dry enough, she will go in the jar. The buds on Pog got too fluffy. Pretty damn good smoke though (most of it is in a jar, but I gotta have something). She lasted me bout 3.5 hours after vaping. She smells sweet. still has a harsh taste, but smoking is definitely doable at this point. Tomorrow or Saturday, I am gonna get something from a club, so's I can let her go a few more weeks. Alien also (with tight nugs dammit!).
So with my being busy, and a altered work schedule this week and next, I was not able to post, and do pictures like I had hoped to do. But considering the situation here(see Fiona's post), as some of you may know, I think you will forgive me on that. I did receive my 40x magnifying loop, and I am really unimpressed with the size of the things I am looking at. I thought for sure since my 60x seemed to big, that the forty would be much better. Actually, the 60x was a good view, but the area was so tiny, it is hard to zoom on stuff, and impossible to get a picture through it. I am a good problem solver, so I will find something that will work. I looked at a camera w/50x zoom, and since I am a cheap bastard, that is not gonna be in the cards. I will have to do a post on all my jury rigged zoom lenses that I use.
Anyways, so I have Romulan, PK, and Morph1 left. They are all doing great. PK is goin' crazy. She is really filling in. Her nugs are tightening up, and her pistils are just starting to turn red. Morph1 is getting purpler every day, and I am hoping the buds will crawl up the stems alot more. Romulan is on a flushing regimen , she smells dank. I like her smell more (so far) than the other's a little bit, but they all smell great to me.
Okay folks, I will have to update again on Monday. I will have pics of something!

Bfn,

Eek
