I am trying to make my own TLO recipe. No layering or spiking, just mix, cook and use. I am going to make a batch and try to improve it each time. If things fall short in the soil, thats fine there is always tea! So what does everyone think about this recipe? This will be blended with one bail of promix or the equivalent amount of soil Alfalfa meal----------------1 cup Alfalfa pellets------------- 1 cup Blood meal-----------------2 cup EWC------------------------12.5 pounds Diatom earth--------------1 cup Powdered molasses-----1/4 cup Oyster shell----------------1 cup Rock phos-----------------1/4 cup Aragonite-------------------1 cup Gypsum--------------------1/4 cup Kelp------------------------- 4 cups Greensand-----------------3 cups Soft rock phos-------------1/2 cup Azomite----------------------1/4 cup Bone meal------------------6 cups Lets hear it! This mix will be tried with soil and pro-mix, All input appreciated

Looks fun... I think we're on the same page here, I have been interested in using some of the ingredient's you listed, so I'm going to grab a Lazy-Boy and join your audience... A little info if you need it, you can eliminate the need to compost for 2+ weeks, if you literally cook the medium for a half hour @ 400*. And a little useless info pertaining here, I learned actually Google'ing how to re-use soil, but as well you can cook "Backyard" soil at the same temp for approx. an hour, which kills off the bad organism's found in the outdoor's dirt...
