Interesting. In growing so many different strains I would think you'd learn a lot about how long it takes specific ones to show sex. I wonder if it's different for each different phenotype. Hmmm.... I'm baked and am sitting here thinking aloud now. Anyhoos, thanks for sharing. Happy Day! :D -Scoob

Hey Zoot very beautiful girls. I have a log going of some regular sex purps, blueberry and aurora that are only 1 day apart from these girls. Thats awesome. I soaked my seeds 2/3/12 putting them at day33 heck maybe even 34 depending on how you count them lmfao. I am settled in and watching to see how these all grow together. I am hoping for sex to show before I need to flower them lol. They are scheduled to hit the flower room on 3/21/12. I started with seeds long ago and have since then grown a bunch of clones gathered from all around MI. So its been a few years since I have grown a seed. I am stoked. Also very curious to see if the Jilly will finish in 8 weeks. Great log Brother

$h!t, the only thing i am learning is what not to do, and i don't take notes to go back to except for these journals i might do, if not half baked.

Day 39

Recap: Started out with 5 seeds, 5 popped, but I ended up killing 1, so only 4 plants to work with.

As of today I have 2 strong ladies, 1 male & 1 late bloomer. I took cuttings off the bottom of each girl & then transplanted the girls into 3 gal. grow bags, I'll give them 17 more days (a full 8 weeks of veg) then flip over to 12/12.

Here are some pictures.

Welcome & enjoy the show, Kayamon.

I should mention that when i took the cutting from one of the two girls, it had an orange julius odor too it. Strong enough to make me stop and re-smell it a few times, just to be sure that was what it was.

Look great Zoot I was planning on flipping mine next Tuesday the 20th. Is been a while since I have grown from seed. Think I am gonna be ok? They are starting to show sex. Was surprised the see you were going that much longer than I am. They are rooted all the way into the 3 gallons pots already. Opinions nailbiting.gif

If yours are showing sex you can flip them when ever. I though, need to pace things so that I don't over grow.

Gotcha you need to limit output? Keep quantity down in the legal range. Its still pretty unregulated here. Dont want too much regs but they need to let us know whats legal and whats not lol

Been reading quietly in the background. Almost picked Jilly as my first seed purchase, but at the end chose Vortex instead. Jilly will be the next seed I buy...she just sounds like she would be a good friend to have. Yours look so happy, and showed amazing growth from the very beginning. I'll keep watching!

Day 57

The time has come to flip these over. 8 weeks is long enough to veg, now for up to 8 -9 weeks of bloom. I don't have pics yet I will load some tonight. The plants range in height from 16 to 21 inches tall. They are all untopped with no LST, I am letting them just do there own thing, as always with a first run. Anywho, i'll update more later.

Hello Zoot! nice looking girls you have. those girls almost look identical to the way my jillybeans looked at that stage of growth! It's amazing how stable this cross is! They are 22 days into flower and smell like orange peels and rotten fruit! keep up the good work!
