wow, i had 34 days less then you shaman... mid may - that is about the time i aways moved em outdoors:D: but that we only have 117 days in total grow - how did i get thru with that little time on my hand?...

I just watch for the local market to put out the 1 gallon tomato plants. Businesses HATE to lose big mark-up items!

does that mean in winnipeg if i have strains that end mid oct. there basically f***ed. or could i move them indoors and back out during the day when its warm??

That frost chart is a crock of road apples!as a farmer in the Fraser Valley I can tell you that the difference in last frost from Abbottsford to Chilliwack doesn't make any sense.Both towns are within spitting distance and the difference is 3 weeks?I don't think so.I know so!Been farming here since I was 6 years old and that was 55 years ago.
