Internet Exploder (Explorer) Security / Ssl Errors With WorkaroundRate Topic:

Just an update that I have been working on getting rid of all these ssl errors with internet exploder. In the process of doing this, I did find a "workaround" to get rid of that dam message that pops up

1) Open Internet Explorer

2) Click Tools

3) Then click on Internet Options

4) Click on the Security Tab

5) Make sure the Internet Icon is highlighted and click on the Custom Level button

6) Scroll about half way down the list to the Miscellaneous Section and look for "Display Mixed Content"

7) Click on Enable for Display Mixed Content instead of Prompt

8) Click on OK. Click yes in the warning box. Click OK.

9) The change should be immediate and the next time you open the problem webpage there will be no warning.

IE has been a terrible problem for me for a long time...it DOES explode for no good reason! My solution was to download Mozilla Firefox. I LOVE it. So I'm glad Gp had problems with IE since that was the only thing to get my lazy butt to find something better.

I know what you mean...I use google chrome and guess what? No problems with it either.

But many people prefer what their computor comes with so we have to solve all problems we can.

Check your address bar on Firefox and if you see a Shield icon in the bar click on it and tell it to display all content. Then you will be able to access the chat room correctly.

hey amigo510 from what i read on internet exsplorer the reason it does that is because greenpassion itself is a secure sight. but the chat is not secured and so ie and firefox will sometimes block it to protect the user.
