Sandia, that was above and beyond! However, one link didn't work, but I was able to find it on pubmed, another shows up cookie errors (my hubby is a bit paranoid and has things set WAY up- so it may not be a problem!) And I beat you to the punch on one of the studies- got it at another site! But really, thank you so much for those studies I missed. They are now on my home list (now up to :toking:.....314 pages)

And Deb, what can I say, you are the ultimate tireless worker! I know better than anyone just how much effort you are putting into this project! I don't know what I'd do without you! Girl- you TOTALLY ROCK! :P

FlowerMeds, Melizzard, headache, th3goon, I think all of you are wonderful- I don't know how I would have managed this without your help! I write your names in green by each section on my home list you've checked. We still have a ways to go, but when I rapidly scroll through going, say, from "Appetite" down to "Obesity" I see a lot more green flickers! All of your efforts are really adding up!yay.gif(And I won't have to have a minor nervous break down checking all those links! :P )

"Thank you" just isn't adequate, but Thank You!

Granny :P

Deb, I enjoy going over the list and finding things! I have found a bunch that I have "bookmarked" in a folder on the computer. I will add them in a post here in the next week or so. Granny, I really enjoy going through and finding the "nuggets" of information. I have been a bit anal retentive in checking them by using IE, Firefox, and Opera....I just want to make sure it is not one of my browsers that is messing up. I am learning quite a bit and glad that I can help out in a small way! On that note: My doctor emailed me this afternoon and is absolutely thrilled about the list! He had expressed this to me at our last visit but wanted to thank me again for providing him a copy. We all owe you a debt of gratitude Granny!!!!! Thanks again for starting this resource and helping it continue to grow!!!!

Hiya FlowerMeds!

Thank you for continuing to edit/proof the list! This week continues to get busy so I believe that soon I will be able to devote the time to do some serious searching on the "interweb"....term a buddy used once....LOL!

My "MAN CAVE" is the name I am calling my "grow room". It is not really a room so to speak but more of a "room within a room".

Here is a link to the thread where it all began for me in the planning/construction. There are some pictures in the last page of posts. I have some better ones (pictures that is) but unfortunately the pic server is down at the moment:frown:.

http://www.greenpass...ead.php?t=20273

XBRPete has been a tremendous friend throughout this entire endeavor and I owe him more than he realizes! He and I were talking one night and I believe he mentioned this term. My wife calls the bathroom the "man cave" but that is not what I am referring to.

The term "man cave" is essentially a place where a man can go that is his "own space". Typically these can be garages, basements, attics, spare rooms....anyplace where manly things can be discussed away from female interference.....LOL!

Here is a link to the Wiki on the term.....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_cave

Hope that clears things up....I honestly hope that there will be MANY females of the botanical kind in the Man Cave!!!

I will rename the room most likely, when I begin using it and it gets a "personality". I know that most folks probably shun away from decorating their grow rooms but I am going to do some decorating anyhow!

Thanks for asking about it!

Among other items, is an absolutely corny-looking, Dollar Store plaque reading "Growing Seeds of Happiness!", and I make my own calendars- this month's has a beautiful painting of a cannabis leaf formed into a fist with a seed in the palm (#8 of 74). It seemed "right" for May. I found it in a great gallery of cannabis art (I "stole" others for various months) at - http://moms4marijuan...albumid=4547455

As far as I'm concerned, grow rooms SHOULD be decorated! You are going to spend a LOT of time there, so why not make it beautiful and comfortable? There's nothing like having a puff on a vape, all comfortable and such, gloating at the open closet door as you view your latest plants! :toking:

Hi Sandia... Thanks i will check this one out. It can be real nice here in the summer. The image of a conservative judge thanking StormCrow ...finally validation. A lot of people who have enjoyed the effects of cannabis still see it as a recreational substance only...and they laugh at the idea of medical use...like my family. StormCrow list blows that away. Great times we are in...even over here...though i must say i am impressed with California! and now...FIBROMYALGIA!

Granny,

I am not entirely sure if these studies are included in the list but if not they should be. Swamped with trying to get things in order here at my house so next week will be when I can get back to attacking the list.

Here is the link.......

http://www.cmcr.ucsd...fo/research.htm

It is REALLY informative with some good PDFs of studies the University of California San Diego (UCSD) accomplished.

Might be worth a looksie!

Cheers,

Sandia:)
