Endocannabinoids, blood pressure and the human heart. (full - 2008).

http://science.iowam...abinoids, blood

%20pressure%20and%20the%20human%20heart.pdf

Hi There...just beginning to check..is this an exaMPLE of what is needed?
Is this a missing link?

Hi hon! I checked that link in the list and it works OK- I DO get the usual PDF warning about possible viruses, but if you continue, it does load OK. PDFs often have that warning- on medical sites, I ignore them. In your copy and paste, it looks like the link didn't get inserted properly! Only the first 1/2 connected! But in my home list, it's working OK. Weird! smhug.gif

But ANYTHING wrong, is what we are after! The idea is to make the list SO DANG PERFECT that they can't say a word against what we got! And note that I say "WE"- This would be so much harder without all of you helping! Now I get to go see if I can find an alternate link for that study and a couple of others! I'm so used to doing it on my own, that all this help is just mind-blowing! - Granny :)

ALLERGIES AND CANNABIS:

Am able to do a few per day...otherwise it slows down our already slow network...which is good cause this can be a bit fun!

This is a good therapy as well! I find that reading the links kind of de programs me from the past 40+ years of untruths told in the home, school, police stations, film...ect...

good for me!

We had a brief, but heavy snow storm yesterday and numerous flicker outages- you know, the ones that are just long enough to mess up whatever you were trying to do on the computer? ;) It took me 3 tries to get through one 6 minute song on my CD player - I finally gave up and put in a tape! They don't need resetting each time when the power flickers! We all gave up on using the computers yesterday! But I got a lot of quilting done on a baby quilt I'm working on! No power necessary for a needle and thread!

So once again, I get to play "catch- up"! (But I simply LOVE it ;) - since it means more progress on the list!) And it is beginning to snow again! I better get busy and get things in order! Love you all! ;)

Edit- Yep Flower Meds- you just created a new category! I am quite aware through several posts that cannabis can indeed be used for eczema! Just hadn't found any studies! When are the scientists going to catch up with the medical cannabis community! lol!

Hi Granny Funny...all these electrical outages...kind of makes me think of alternatives...but what ? How?...i dream of living in a solar all year greenhouse, living among the herbs! The EXEmA thing i have been told is incurable and "the cousin of Psoriosis".,..since i have had a surge of it lately..i had no idea cannabis helped! WoW...it has been improving from recent megadoses...i'll save any interesting stories on that one. Happy Holidays, Storm Crow.. The seeds you planted are starting to bloom!

In building the Solstice List, I have so far come across the following discrepancies:

1. Antioxidant is one word

2. The index should read "ALLERGIES AND CANNABIS" instead of "allergies to cannabis"

Now, building the Solstice List is a 4-phase project. I am currently up to ANTI-FUNGAL PROPERTIES in phase 2 (phase 1 was quickish). Your list is a beast Granny! I expected this to be a huge project but even churning away at a steady pace I am behind where I expected to be. What is the Solstice List you may be asking? All I'm willing to say is.... you'll see! And I promise you'll like it!

I had already changed the "to" to an "and". (Honest!) At first, all I had were "allergies to" studies, but with new studies "and" does work better.

And I did change the "antioxidant"- even though they had a hyphen in the very first title- "Biological screening of 100 plant extracts for cosmetic use (II): anti-oxidative activity and free radical scavenging activity. (abst - 1997)

However, more left the hyphen out, so that's the way we'll go! Thank you for the corrections!

My best friend's eldest daughter just died, and a second daughter is in ICU with heart problems. Her brother, who lives with her, just got out of the hospital and is on morphine! Her own health is fragile.

I HAVE to take a few days off from the list (and almost everything else) to help her.

Please just carry on without me- keep checking those sections- I'll get caught up later.

Hi Granny,

I am working on Anti-Inflammatory Properties currently.

I would like to take on Arthritis, GERD/Gastro-Esophageal, Hormones, and Quitting Other Drugs for today.

I will post up the results as soon as I have checked them!!!!

Just a general observation....some of the links are "BOLDED" and I am not sure if that was intentional or not. I have looked at a couple of them, as they stand out, and do not think that they should be in "BOLD" IMO.

Granny,

I want to let you know the method to my madness when editing so that it is NOT confusing for you or anyone else.

1. I do NOT have a PDF editor so I am cutting and pasting the sections into Microsoft Word.
2. I then go back to the PDF document and ensure that the link works from the PDF.
3. I compare the titles from the "Granny List" to the actual document.

NOTE: I will not correct the spelling OR alter the title in any way aside from the font and capitalization (if the title is in all Caps for some reason).

4. I then use MS Word to ensure Font and spacing is correct.
5. I will provide the ORIGINAL listing in my post and then the "corrected" version below it.
6. I will do my best to summarize the changes below the "corrected" version so that it will let everyone know just how the "corrected" version was modified.
7. For ease of viewing, I will adopt a standard of making the "corrected" version in "green" colored font to eliminate confusion between the original and the "corrected" version.
8. ONLY the subareas that require correction will be posted in the thread here.

I do not know how the Green Passion fonts/sizes work so all of my corrections will be cut and pasted from the word document.

If you would like, I would be MORE than happy to send you the sections with the edits in a word file to your email if that makes things easier. Throughout my life I have had to create/proof/comment on many documents and have used different templates for doing so. Unfortunately, I do not see an easy way to make this user friendly within posts.

The edited sections I work on may be a bit "anal retentive" but you are asking for as close to perfection as we can get....so please do not take the edits as anything else than professional courtesy in helping proof the work you have compiled.

OK....with that being said, I am off to the editing room to begin my assistance!

THANK YOU AGAIN for your list and helping all of us in our "quest for knowledge"!!!!

Should you finish the edits file before I finalize the Solstice List (read: not soon) I will gladly use it to correct any errors found before I release Solstice. I would recommend including errors found by others. Up to you.

Also, for those of you who may be wondering what this Solstice List is that I keep failing to reveal, essentially it is a recompilation of the entirety of the Equinox List into a streamlined format that will be as printer-efficient as possible. I have heard several people ask about printing out the List and now that Granny's really done her homework, any printed copy of the official List will be somewhat expensive. I will let you know when I am finished with the first draft. Whenever that will be.

My friend's other (responsible) brother has shown up and plans to stay at least a week. I think he can care for her better than I. A third brother may also come in a day or two. So I'm off the hook for now. She needs her family more than me.

A second thing has come up- Happier this time highfivegif - My adult sons just returned from a road trip. (income tax refund!) And now the hubby has decided he wants to do a road trip, too! This is very unusual- he's usually rather reclusive. So I'm running with it! Heaven knows when he will feel like this again! :)

A friend of mine, way south of here, is throwing a warm-up party for 4/20 this weekend, so we are going! (I haven't taken a real vacation, or been to a real party in years!) We plan to head for the coast while we are at it- Ft. Bragg. (kelp for my compost dazzler.gif ). I expect to be back by Monday or Tuesday.

It will be a "working vacation", I printed up the "Equinox list" (fills a 2 inch note book very nicely) and some stickers with the "i.want" email address on them. I'll be hitting dispensaries, promoting the list. Hopefully, I will be able to convince a few to set up a computer with the list on it for their customer's use, or make a print-up, or something.

This has been a "rollercoaster" week for me! So I think that this short break is a good idea! But now on to correcting the list! No fun for Granny, until that gets done!

Sandia, I think you are getting a taste of what it is like maintaining this "monster"! lol It really eats up my time! But it is worth every minute!

OK, back to slaving over a hot computer! dazzler.gif
