Ok guy's here we go!
Well guy's this is what ive got goin and yes before anyone say's it I know iv'e still got some work to do. I just got these babies sprouted as i'm trying some different strains in here. I just kinda temporarily set the Halide lamp up and got it goin cause these seedlings needed light quick. The door is now cut out and am installing it this evening. The reflector is not even close but once again it's very temporary. I raised the seedling tray up a bit to get more intensity without burning. I have a small fan blowing between em and it seems to be doing awesome so far. I will be progressing even further on this tonight and will get some more pics and info on it for ya. Enjoy and please let me know what I can be doing better on this.
Peace,
MC

Wow... That's what I call a wing tip.... just funin M.C.
I would offer at this point that you might want to hang the ballast itself up, near the ceiling and free up some floor space. It should have a flange that lets you hang it on a couple screws, it will also give you a little cooler growing area. If that was next on your todo list,my bad... Peace and happy growing.

Thanks guy's I was just getting to those things I just had to throw it together for seedling light as a couple of em were stretching a bit under the little cfl. The sprout that came up this morning was nice but alot shorter. Guaranteed that Halide made some difference dont ya think. Should I scrap those few that stretched? I dont have a whole lotta height in the upper chamber so I have to watch that.
Thanks again and i'll get on these issues.
Peace,
MC

Ya like that wing? Yeah we'll it was deffinately one of the better seats ive had for a pic like that. My VirginAir flight from Atlanta to NY on descent into JFK. Nice flight but the Boeing747-400 back to Atlanta was even more of a welcome surprise. I was unaware they even used them inside the US as they are mostly for overseas longer travel. Flight attendants all sounded British so go figure. Fun times nonetheless people.

yeah iv'e found that low light intensity has alot to do with stretch. Every experience iv'e ever had with them has been anything but good but i suppose i could transplant them abit deeper but I hate doin that as much as I hate getting rid of those that did. Should I try these anyway or call them quits?

MC,
Your room looks great, that will produce some nice buds. I agree to plant those that stretched, deeper and that MH will do the trick for sure.
See Ya,

No don't scrap leggie seedlings, just plant up to the first leaves to stabilize them. I let them strech on purpose as it gives them better roots doing it that way. You want a deeper container, over wider. Like a tall yogurt container. With holes in the bottom.

Thanks for that jangel I never really wated to scrap em. I have 32 ounce Pepsi cups for the next container then i'm going with 12"by12" square containers. I'm only gonna be able to do 5-6 in there I think at a time. We'll see what you guys have to offer about my choices there. Lemme know and thanks again so much.
Peace,
MC

Hello again guy's. Well no door yet but you can see what it will look like as the one pic has the original doors leaning against the closet. These will be fastened to a sheet of 3/4" Plywood that iv'e already cut to fit the opening and put on hinges. I just laid the doors up there to kinda give ya an idea of what I am trying to do. Good idea or bad one????. Anyway I did transplant the seedlings that were going good into 32oz cups. I will leave them in them for about three weeks and then they are going into the larger flowering containers. I'm still kinda tryin to decide weather I wanna use square pots or round ones. I only have so much height to play with so the space will be cramped. I may be doing some training. lemme know what ya think. you'll notice that iv'e also cleaned up the wiring a bit but still want to raise the ballast up off the floor or relocate it altogether.
Peace,
MC
