Bubblelicious/AK-48 grow
hi guys, how are you.
I`ve just started my new grow and thought it`d be nice to keep a journal.
I`m going to grow in soil and keep it as organic as possible. My setup is:
Soil: Plagron Light-mix with perlite (pH in H2O 5,5-6,5; NPK 12-14-24[kg/m3-1,5, bag 15 kg]; organic substances 79,6%) - I went for light mix cos it gives me more control over nutes.
Light: I use 200W CFL Eco-Light for veg and 400W HPS for flowering.
Nutrients: for veg - Biobizz Bio-grow 8-2-6; for flowering Biobizz Bio-bloom 2-6-3,5 + dr.Hornby BigBud 0-1-4 from the 3rd week of flowering.
As for the water I like to keep its pH around 6.8-6.6.
And finally what I`m going to grow: av got 5 Bubblelicious seeds and 5 AK-48 from NIRVANA.I hope for 2 female plants of each type.
I`d like to take this opportunity to ask for tips (if any) and suggestions from people who grew these strains.
I hope to be able to upload some pix of germinated seeds tomorrow.
so...off we go take care guys.

Raf:
Sounds like a cool grow...I'll be looking forward to the Journal!
By the way....you've got another weed growing there too...and you don't want this one!
It is this weed here, sitting just to the right of your bag of soil in the pic above.:
100_2769.jpg
It is called "Stinky Bob", and is not native to the US. It has been around several years now, and is nearly impossible to stop once it gets a foothold in your yard.
http://dnr.metrokc.gov/wlr/LANDS/wee..._Factsheet.pdf
Yank that sucker!
They pull out easily, but also drop seed by the jillions...I've been trying to get a handle on them around our place for a couple months now...

hi guys,how are you.
just a quick update. 10 out of 10 seeds have germinated successfully and they look fine.you can see them having their first sunbath on that picture. I like giving my plants natural light (especially sunlight) as often as possible in their early days.I want to keep them in veg for around 4-5 weeks.next update in a week time.take care.

I always keep seeds for 24h in water, lid covered in a dark place with temp around 59-64.4F [15-18C].I don`t want them to germinate but just soak water.sometimes they`re in a rush and sprout quickly so need to be gentle while removing from water into soil, 5mm deep and always tap after filling up then I spray soil around with water every now and then just to keep it moist with temp 80.6-82.4F and light 24/7. and then you go...in 3 years time never had a single problem with germinating seeds up to 6 month old after delivered from seedbank. I also select seeds for as regular as possible ones first, what makes usually 5 seeds.but even the second lot is rather no bother.most problems I get is from 2nd to 4th leaf.
thx

time for a quick update.plants are 2 weeks old now and in new pots.look strong, nice and healthy.space is extremely limited as you can see, so some plants got bigger pots and some smaller.now they start 5-6 weeks journey till I start flowering them.not much is going to happen in meantime am afraid.I`ll keep them with light 24h for another week so to give them time to root well. then light turns to 18/6. I hope they will show sex around 3rd-4th week of veg so I could remove males and concentrate on females.I`d like to top them and work around them so to get as many strong branches as possible and let them grow through the screen then.again, space is my limit.that`s way I decided for Indica-Indica/Sativa plants as they don`t grow high and work nice with screen.I`ll update randomly on the progress.in the meantime I`ll try to figure out how to entertain you guys

thank you guys.
here you have pictures of my latest grow.I`ve made some water extracted hash from the leftovers.had 3 plants and around 100g of trim but only with crystals (wet and semi dried) and mj pop corn.got overall 3,4g of hash. used only 200/43/22mm mesh so the most from 43mm was 3g and contaminated a bit.but tiny I was still able to get substantial bits from the second, third and even the fourth wash (small piece on the picture) but can`t tell bout quality of them as I haven`t tried it yet.buds are from 3 plants and on different stages of drying.I try to can for about 3-4 weeks and get feeding frenzy then for about a week.cheers!

Did you have them sent to your house???
My next grow is going to be AK-48/WHITE WIDOW

overall time was 6 days but only 4 working ones.they were very quick and informed of every stage of order processing. had them sent on my then address as seeds` possession in that country is legal unless you germinate them so i never did of course.
the only thing I can tell bout AK for now is that it is short and bushy and very much indica. WW was the easiest grow I ever had.I had 10 feminised seeds and all of them worked very nice for me so I can give 5/5 stars, real value for money even under fluo lights.
btw.I`m looking currently for reliable seedbank having Cinderella99 IN STOCK!.

hi guys, how are you.
it's the 31st day of grow and decided to start flowering my plants.much earlier than I planned initially but just realised I wouldn't have a space to contain all the plants if I kept them in veg a bit longer.
2 plants (Bbl) out of 10 turned to be males already and got removed so am left with 8 plants. 3 of them are surely females - 2 AK and 1 Bbl and I hope for 1 more female Bbl.I`d be very happy with 4 females but am not going to say no if it turns out av got 6 or 7 of them .
my god....it`s so bloody hot outside I cant even sit and type...
take care.

Beautiful plants! I'm in the 7th wk of flowering five AK48; I had two phenos: 1)shorter, with compact buds, greenish-yellow hairs, no aroma. 2) buds have long hairs, very white. A week or so slower than the 1st, but smells very sweet.- Both types have heavy buds, very sticky. No smoke report yet.
I also have Bubblicious and Jock at 5 wks old. I dropped the tray when they were seedlings, and, although I saved 7 out of ten, they lost their tags so I don't know which is which.
