Default Hobo's Body Building Experiment

Ok folks, i have recently gone obsessed with losing bodyfat and gaining muscle mass. My girlfriend is also recently been obsessing over excersise...

so we are challenging each other to see who can ge the best results. She is trying to get toned up, im trying to build muscle. Im eating 4-5 small meals a day properly balanced nutrition wise, with a focus in protein for building mass. I am not exactly a big guy so i have a long way to go. and working out an hour a day 5 days a week, various lifting and other excercises

So i figure for my record and if i inspire anyone else to join in on this challenge, ill show my before shots now and after shots in 2 months.

Eating the 4-5 smaller meals a day is much better for your health, overall, in any event. (take it from a diabetic..LOL)

After I got over wanting to , you look like a healthy young guy...why mess with what ya got? I was bulky in my younger years (5'9" and 200, low body fat) and it only caused me issues as I got older, cause it takes more and more every year to stay in that shape.

Pack it on, but BE HEALTHY!

well as posting photos of myself...nada..but if comparing statistics im more then down..i lift 4-5 days a week..some of my stats
im 5'8 190
bench 2 rep max is 265
dead lift 2 rep max is 310
shrug 2 rep max is 310
i warm up bench by doing 2 sets 25 at 135,dead lift is 2set at 20reps 135 same as shrug.....im not so into tone as i am power..so thats what i focus on more..but dont get it wrong i do excerises to get cut up...just not as much as power.....peace az

Ya, I wanna see some leg too.... For real you look pretty healthy. I've never been one for over bulkey men. I would go for more tone than muscle if I were you. It's kinda gross to see a guy all popping out with muscle. It's a real turn on to see a guy nice and firm. That sounds funny but, FIRM everywhere is NICE....

Hey, if you are healthy then go for what you want. It is health and quality of life that is important. My pear shaped guy is still very much loved but we are a whole different generation. Now he is working outside, the pear is more a peach! LOL! Will always love him though!

only work out 1 time a week .

i go skating to work out my legs, downhill boarding is intense, fun, dangerous and jogging back up those steep hills turns your legs into rocks.

i have a feeling its going to turn into that, i want to build a liiittle more mass, but all in all i just want to be close to having 0 percent body fat.

I do not think 0% body fat is healthy. If you ever get ill or hurt you have no reserves to bounce back on. And I will tell you that I never ever found skinny or over pumped men at all attractive. You need some mass to support health and well being. Plus it is better to hug someone with some body to them! IMHO! LOL!

Hey Hobo,

Getting and staying in shape is a good thing. I used to be in excellent physical condition. But, just because one is in condition, one should not over-do. It WILL come back to haunt you. If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself.

Hell yeah, it's cool to see that I'm not the only one into bodybuilding here. I agree though with the other members that if you're not working your legs to than you should. If not so you can be proportionate you should at least do them because of the large amount of hormones that your body releases from working them which will help all the rest of your muscles grow too. I love it. I just need to fall in love with running a bit more so I can get my six pack on.

for situps, kick boxing really gave me extra definition BUT beware of injurys! its rough even in training. been going gym for years and ran for england a few times .................. then i meet MJ :/
