hello ladies
I just wanted to say to all the other women out there. I know I'm not the only wife on this site. Have any other moms out there? We have an 8 month old, so I'm always seeking advice.

I'm an old guy, and my youngest is 17. She's a senior in HS. But, we do watch a little doll for a couple hours a day. She is the daughter of one of my wife's co-workers. Tatiana is 7 months old and is a real joy. I take care of her mostly, as my wife works late and sleeps late in the morning. Tati is absolutely the easiest little one to take care of. She really likes her Papa.

We just don't want them. They are expensive and annoying (lol) plus neither of us ever grew up ourselver.
Best part is when the dogs misbehave I can put them outside (fenced yard) and lock the door.

Sometimes I wish you could lock the kids outside. LOL There's never enough quiet time anymore.

Wait until they get older. When the hormones kick in. About middle school age. Oh boy. I used to work in a junior high but decided I would rather stay home and smoke I mean medicate.

MRX has a 9 year old son and a daughter that will be 3 in June (they live with thier mom) when our daughter turns 1 year. I'm glad to say that they are all well behaved. One that note, things do get pretty crazy having all 3 here at one time, which will be all this summer. I already know I'm going to get tired of saying, "y'all go play outside for a little while, then you can come in." But when it's all said and done, I'll still admit that I love every minute of it.

yep, Mogie, I'm not looking forward to having 2 daughters dating age. I think I'm going to move out when they're about 12. J/K lol. I know I will be needing much more "medication" when they get older. The youngest one already has a mind of her own. She's definitely going to be independent at an early age.

I couldn't deal with the part where they become independent and think they no longer need Mom and Dad. Usually don't realize how wrong they are until their late 20's.

hey enjoy them now as soon it will get MUCH WORSE!!! Not to be a downer but you have not lived till you have to talk to your little darlings about their love life!!!! AND make sure they know you are tooooooo young to be a granny!!! Now they fight what you tell them. Soon they will just as a matter of course do what you tell them NOT to. without thought. Who was it that said that raising teenagers is like trying to nail jello to a tree.
But I must say, my daughter is pretty kewl. She does here me out. And now that she has figured out that I am NOT the enemy, she asks my advise. I just tell her "Hey, I am on your side, and have been were you are now. I do not want to make you do what I want, I just want to help and guide you to make the best choices. We are on the same side." That helps. Have fun and enjoy those loving small arms around you now. They grow so very very fast. Now I too have my dogs and plants!!! I don't have to have such talks with them! LOL!
Life,
jangel

We have 2 boys, 5, 7. I love being a mom.Ya, there are times??? I never wanted to have kids. My husband did long before me and he had 3 others. Twins ( my age) and a son 5 yrs younger. So he was suprised when I turned 34 and said I gotta have a baby. Then when Conner came I said uh, I can't only have one, and along came Cody.
Life is better that it ever has been
