School Board Approves Teaching of Anal Sex

Plans submitted to the Maryland State School Board by the Montgomery County Public School District to teach alternative sexual lifestyles has been approved. The curriculum is intended for 8th and 10th grade students.
The program, which promotes anal sex, homosexuality, bisexuality, and transvestitism as being normal, has come under fire by several pro-family groups who have enlisted the services of the Thomas More Law Center to fight the decision in court.
The pro-family groups feel that among other things, the teaching of anal sex as an alternative puts students at increased risk AIDS/HIV and other diseases. They also state that the curriculum is "full of factual inaccuracies".
