I am lucky enough to have my grow room in an outbuilding not in my home. I have been using Mothballs to mask the stank. I don't put them directly in the growroom but place them in containers in the outbuilding, outside the growroom. The box of balls are relativley cheap and last aprox a month or so depending how large your grow is and how strong the stank is. The mothballs not only cover the smell up, they help to deter rodents and other invasive pests.

we were just having this discussion as my girls are very stinky now. The moth balls is a cool idea i shal try. Ramius will just have to put p with the smell, great he will be even more nowty when i go in each day. I was thinking of just painting in ramius' room every day a bit at a time, but once again GP to the rescue with simple options. THANK YOU Xxx

My grow is a little smaller than other peoples, but I just have a small tub of ONA (Odor Neutralizing Agent). I'll post a pic of it later, but as it dries it eliminates odors, and then mine also has a fresh linen scent to it. Right now, I have a piece of tinfoil covering the top, with two holes punched in it with a pencil, and it smells like fresh linen in my closet, (where it physically is), my room, and the hallway around my room for about ten feet. Nice stuff.

Theres always some neat, cool ways to mask the odor.
Personally, I never have to worry about odors, theres no one arund to smell em.
Charcoal filters are the best from what I've seen, but this low cost odor machine actually works wonders, in fact I have friends who use this in there house to maintain a fresh, clean smell because of pets or what have you.

Fortunately, my grow rooms are not in the house, but another room built into the shop. They draw air from the garage, and the veg room exhausts into the garage, while the flower room exhausts outside up into the open air about 4' above the roofline.
The garage has an odor, no doubt, but the flower room is rather....aromatic? Ya gotta love that smell, even if your neighbors don't!
Fortuantely, within my neighborhood are 2 other growers, and their crops are substantially larger than mine, with not near the ingenuity into exhaust.
I shower daily and make sure I don't enter the flower room in business clothes. Other than that, I don't care how it smells...it's my shop and off-limits to all by invited guests.
Personally, I like SHAMAN'S idea! Just smoke a fattie a couple times a day in the area and no one will discern the difference!

Dursky, I thought you had that really nice, expensive charcoal filter, what happened to that?

I need to get some ONA.
I seen where Videoman posted a thread about it on another site awhile back.
My 3 little girls are stinking it up in my aprartment.
You can not smell it outside though.
It hits you though as soon as you walkin the front door.
My dog keeps anyone from getting to close to my grow anyway.
None of my friends come over and hang out.
Everyone is scared of the dog.
Which is funny.
He is just a big baby.
He just puts on a show.

That is the one I was refering to Oleander.
That seems the most cost effective and sensible method to me.
I have an ionizer that supposedly generates neggative Ions that I need to pick up from my mom.
I was planning on using that in the grow closet along with the bucket and fan waffing ona gel and water.
I figure that should pretty much eliminate any odor in such a small place.
