Sitting here waiting, not knowing why. Collectively thinking to laugh or to cry.
I watch the news daily, for news that don't come. Late for too many, never for some.
Politicians affraid to touch the issue. They all know the truth and what they should do.
Forever their talking about issues that don't matter. While most Special Interest Groups wallets get fatter.
Prices of precription drugs skyrocketing way out of view. While it's politics as usual with a "nothing we can do."
Their affraid what they say could ruin their campaigne. But still I must feel, they've left us all in the rain.
Big Drug Companies say "take our new pill it's the best." But they still leave me feeling sick, like the rest.
But let them or their family get sick then they'll see, why medicinal marijuana is important to you and me.
