How to get involved
I've been checking out the NORML web site, both national and the closest local chapters to me. It seems that all they recommend that I, an individual, do to help is donate. While I'm sure money is helpful I cant spare any. What I can offer is my time, and I have plenty of that. I'm curious what I can do, actually do, not just give to help our cause. I hate how you click on the "take action" button and the only things they have there are 3 different ways to donate money. I want to do something, sending money is so unpersonal!

I'm sure if you called the local chapter they could point you in the right direction, or they may even let you volunteer or something like that. Until then just talk to your friends and relatives about it and try and show people the reality of Medical Marijuana. Its not the unholy stuff our grandparents thought it was you know.

IMHO.. you could write letters and snail mail them..... to your National and State Senators and Representatives. Calling and e-mailing just doesn't pack the punch that an ol' fashion letter does. It's more concrete...
