My response is not there. When my friend Dave came over in 1965 with a little coin bag and a corn cob pipe I had no clue what MJ was but since Dad smoked ciggies and Granpop smoked a pipe I figgerd... why the hell not, I knew absolutely nothing about pot.

But I was a fast learner!!!

LOL

This was about the time I first smoked. I remember, someone in a movie, said that the effect was like getting punched in the stomach, without the pain. I waited, but thankfully, nobody punched me. Up until the mid '60's, I thought it was all pretty much the same; heroin, morphine, cocaine, marijuana,...were all extremely bad. The unfortunate thing that happened in small towns, like the one I grew up in, when MJ became more available, so did the rest, and of course, LSD, mescaline, etc.
Please pardon the ramble.

I thought it was the devil like I had been taught. It was one of the reasons my parents split up. I hated that my dad used it because it caused nothing but problems. It was horribly addictive and people who used it were stupid because it destroyed your brain cells. The D.A.R.E. program is such a brainwashing tool for the bastard prohibitionists. Now I doubt anything I'm told by the lying government and leos.

As a child it was everywhere around me...I was told at a young age it was no biggie...so to me it was just that.

I saw the plants in the yard and I never paid them any mind.

I didn't even know it was something that people smoked until I was 8 or 9...and by then I knew better than to talk about it...I remember people saying how it was bad bad bad...but the people I saw using it were honest and good people...so the brainwashing didn't work...I was lucky I suppose.
