Default How do I raise the humidity levels in my room?

Im sure that most of you have beat this one to death. However Im going crazy trying to raise my hummidity levels in my veg room. It is currently ablut 30% and Im trying to get to at least 60%. I went and bought a hummidifier. I have put buckets of water in the room. It just wont rise. I can raise the levels with a spray bottle. But then the lights just dry up that water and the levels drop again. Any advice would be greatly recieved.

Thanks a lot.

Fast way is to use a 5 gal bucket fill with water half way up
Put a fan blowing up the moist air from the bucket.

Wet towels hagging over buckets

A humidifier

It ended up taking two $100 dollar hummidifiers to solve my problem. Thanks for the responses.

Its only like 10x10. It has been the strangest thing. I have never had problems with low hummidity. But it would not even register on my hummidity guage. Anyways it just really reinenforced to me that the one of the powers of indoor growing is that you have the power to control the enviroment. It was just frustating trying to create the envrioment I needed and watching plants die at the same time. But know things are seem to be running smooth.

Never hurts to check the humidity with another humidity meter...just to be sure before buying new gear

I had an issue a couple years back where my humidity meter showed 80%+ humidity (way too high for a flower room) so I went and bought a new gauge and also a dehumidifier. Turns out it was the gauge I was using...Doh!

I kept the dehumidifier, and have actually needed it on occasion.
This way, the wife isn't so ....displeased with the expenditure.
