Well maybe it is not about decarboxyilation.
I was just trying too replicate what Rick does. He heats it for solvent to evaporate, any maybe that is also a part of a process that makes the medicinal effects so powerful. So i wouldnt want to skip the heating process, altough it is not needed. Hemp seed is rich in all essential fat acids, and act as an endocannabidoid system builder (by some theories).
So if you heat your mixture for i dont know 2 hours and dont exceed 290 F (140C) you would be replicating Ricks process.as trichomes in the solvent he uses are also heated together with the solvent.
I got this idea from i guy, who claims he invented a process of liqufying marijuana. Organic way, only water ice and heat. He definetly uses ice hash method and then mixes with hemp seed oil and heats it. I am almost sure that is the case. Temperature and heating time we can only guess.
Ha also claims that he can convert THC to CBD and vice versa. I know CBD to THC can be done by isomerizing CBD(not an organic process). But THC to CBD, i havent found anything about that.
His site:
Ricky’s Balm of Gilead
Check the research tab, that is the source for my theory i just explained.
For now the process is a secret, but i think that he will reveal it someday.maybe he will sell the machine that makes that??
Some will say that he profits from that.... If he discovered something new, i dont see anything wrong with him profiting. Because if you discovered how to convert thc to cbd and loose for many people "unwanted" psychadelic effect, and still keep the same medicinal value i think you deserve some reward.
