bubblicious in ocean forest tips anyone?

Hey everyone. This will be my first grow w/ Nirvanas Bub, also new w/ ocean forest. I will be using 400mh, then 600hps to flower in a 5x5x8 space. I have fox farm grow big, tiger bloom, big bloom and the 3 part flower pack, also ff. Just wondering if anyone had tips or experience to share. Any info would be great. Thanks

I've used fox farm ocean forest twice before... just remember you won't need to feed the plants for about three weeks when you first plant, the soil has enough in it until then.

Ah, thanks op. Perfect. Do you suggest 1 part or any perlite?

When I use ffof I add a tablespoon of dolomitic lime per gallon of soil and 20-25 % added perlite. Theres already perlite in it but not enough to suit me. I add the DL for a little more ph buffering effect since it's a peat based soil mix.

Thanks warlord, great info. I will germ in paper towel and start in 6" tall 6" wide roud pots then transfer to 2 gal grow bags. I also have pro mix bx, should I start them in promix then transfer to ffof or all ffof. Or, should promx bx be my only medium. Ahh! Too many variables. Thanks again yall.

I will try one mother w/ perlite and one without. I really appreciate all the help and tips. I'm thinking I will try a few purple wrecks in promix, I'v had great results w/ pmix and ff nutes in the past. Just putting final pieces together and will post progress. Again thanks. Yall are great.
