The Most Abused English Words

I don't know about you but my ears hurt when I hear the English language abuse with stupid filler words that have no use in the conversation but to make the person look dumb.

Number one most abused word is.........

So what's your's and can you make it through the day without using useless filler words?

no i most certainly can not!!!! i use them constantly...all day every day!!!

they give me more time for my brain to catch up with my mouth and i couldn't live without them!!

I think most all have used these words at one time or another,,, Man you would probably say your ears are hurting if you took the time to have conversation with me,,, And believe me I am not nor do I look dumb.... We are all made differently with different personalities,, I find it to be an interesting thing... But to each his own,,, As we say up here in the North,, Have a wicked good time

The one I abuse the most is Dude.

My mom is a retired english teacher from Plano,Tx and she hates my cali lingo the most...She tells me that I sound dumb all the time...so I make it a point to call her dude atleast 10 times everytime I speak with her

i use hella, cool, dude, brother, sweet, righteous, wicked and killer quite a bit, sometimes in cleverly executed combos

oh and....oi oi oi, when i am on skype (thank you traceydm!) or sometimes when i'm drinking with the fellas.

All I can think of at the moment is: 'I'm' and 'sorry'.
I might just be bias cause I hear it all the time but nothing ever changes, other than the increased frequency of hearing them.

My Dad made me aware of the word "actually" in the late 50's, seems new but must go back even farther.
