Default Ratio that might be useful

Hey folks, just thought I'd throw this out there as I've read some good stuff here on Ph that was a little too complicated for me.

The story is I bought a real cheap Ph meter and to ensure it wasn't crazy I got some Ph strips too. Well the meter is crazy and the Ph strips only go down to 6.2. I was looking for 6.

Anywho, 1 gallon of RO water + plus 1 tsp FF Grow Big nutes + 1 tsp white vinegar (4% acidity--it's on the label) gives me, according to the strips, a perfect 6.2. Any more acid and I'm off the available scale. Not perfect but 6.2 is better than 7.0. Right?

I've got a nitrogen issue I'm trying to fix.

BTW--and not a product endorsement in anyway--my nutes did not change the Ph at all.

Mods -- please do as you see fit with this post.

Toke -- I will post pics as soon as I see it happening again. 6.2, to my mind is too high (doh!). But yes, I will post pics once this plant has matured enough to show the issue.

Thanks Toke.

I really need a meter that works. Suggestions welcome and appreciated. I can grow weed but good weed is a problem. I can only grow 6 months out of the year because of the heat. One good crop would be great, two would be awesome.
