A man called the cops on an intruder. The man physically encountered the intruder of his home and got in a fight with him. When the cops showed up with a Canine, they sicked the dog on the man that called the cops. The dog chewed up his leg and his arm severely. A neighbor had to get the cop to call the dog off because he wasn't listening to the man that was being attacked by the dog. The neighbor was yelling, "Stop, stop... he lives here!" The cop allowed the intruder to get away while the home owner was being chewed up by the dog. Both the neighbor and the home owner were yelling at the cop that the bad guy was getting away.
The story failed to report if they ever caught the bad guy... which probably means he got away.
It's rare that a cop actually gets there while the perpetrator is still present. It's sad that when they do manage to get out of the doughnut shop in time to actually catch somebody they get the wrong guy.
Oh I left out... the home owner was kicking the bad guys ass when the cops got there. So I guess they just aren't used to someone actually protecting themselves.
Like I've said before in other posts... who needs cops anyway...

High hookerroad... sounds familiar..
2-3 weeks ago, I saw on the news where the Pheonix police shot and killed the homeowner (year or two ago), when they (LEO) got there, they guy with the gun (homeowner) was on top of the intruder with the gun to his head and he was on the phone with 911. On the 911 call recording, you could hear the police break in the door and just start shooting.. they killed him. On the 911 call recording you could later (a second) hear him saying "no, no",...then "bang, bang, bang, you shot me! I'm dying"..
It was an inter racial couple (white women, hipanic husband).. the intruder was black. Racial profiling at its' best! The cops?? White and black, I think.
Culmination of court proceedings>>>> LEOS walked. Not guilty.
I don't hate LEOs, they deal with some 'really' bad peronalities, that I'd just as soon, never meet.
But they do get a 'little' over reacting occasionally.
Indeed both sad cases and wont be the last, far too many heavy handed cops in the world.
I think that's why here in the UK normal cops on the street dont have guns, we have special armed response units to deal with anything that requires a gun, i can just imagine the slaughter over here if they ever did arm PC plod.

That video makes me severely angry. This is why a lot of people hate cops. I won't give them a dime either. They kill people everyday just as Deb mentioned and they get away with it everyday. A cop can break the law and get away with murder. They have a license to kill. So much for equal rights.

High McB.. I believe you're talking about 'gun control'.
I'm not sure what a "PC plod" is, or if your implication is that the UK way, 'gun control', is better or worse.
Your mention of 'slaughter', might lead me to believe you are not in favor of it.
Yes the UK has 'gun control', we have a constitution (not that it is intact as much as it once was) that gives us "the right to bear arms" (for now).
I would want it no other way. And yes, I believe your police are more civil in their carring out of their duties but I only lived there for 7 months and had no interaction with them, so I'm not positive that you do not have rogue un-armed 'bobbies'.

1st PC plod is what we here in the UK call our police
2nd our gun control method is that they are illegal, nobody can have one without good reason ie; farmer to protect his livestock, the owner of a hunting lodge.
3rd i believe you are talking about the 2nd amendment, if so this can be perceived in many ways IMO
4th "rogue un-armed 'bobbies'" we don't live in the wild west.
Peace

Did you mean to say that our constitution backs up our God given right (if someone doesn't believe in God then replace with "natural right to self-defense") to self-defense? The reason I'm asking is because the Constitution was written (in part) to proclaim the rights that all men hold in common, rights that no government can grant or take away. I think that's a very important distinction to make. The Constitution doesn't really grant or give "we the people" anything, it reiterates what I mentioned above.
Primarily, the Constitution is a document that was written to severely limit the power of our government and to protect the people from runaway government, exactly what we're facing right now. Like you mentioned earlier, the Constitution is going the way of the Doe-doe bird. Pretty soon we'll be in the same position as the British and the Australians. Let's hope the people will rise up (preferably in a non-violent manner) and put an end the incremental enslavement we've had to deal with all these years.
I apologize in advance just in case it seems like I'm trying to step on your feet. I'm not and I think you probably agree with the distinction I attempted to make above.
-the Corsican.
P.S.,
The guy the British cops shot on the subway (after the 7/7 bombings) didn't seem to benefit from an unarmed police force. I followed that story when it happened and it was amazing how the police lied about what had happened.
what bothers me about police is ,they always think you are lying no matter what ??I have been pulled over several times and asked wheres the dope at /??I tell them search the car there is nothing in there .Next comes k9 tears through car and finds nothing .then no sorry or anything ,they just take off and leave you to put speaker boxes and back seats in .

High McBing...
1st: Thank you for the definition..
2nd: guncontrol
3rd: Absoloutly correct - everywhere
4th: coruption is everywhere.
Ohhhh the right to bear arms...............I allways thought it was the right to arm bears, somehow i thought it might have been wrong
High whodat..
You from Michigan? You sound just like a friend from michigan.. he doesn't grow weed..
He brews "nectar of the gods!"
157 Proof from sugar only.. cured in italian oak casks and taken back down to aroun 94 proof... my my my... doesn't even make you wince, even on the first sip.
At the risk of being sucked into another lively debate on politics, I will say this. The second amendment was originally written as more of a last resort thing for the people to keep and bear arms to protect themselves if the government was wielding too much power, and I also believe that it is a god given right to self defense.
(also, as I have stated before, basing your thoughts on cops on the actions of a few is still a little narrow minded.)

I just don't want to argue anymore...lol, I'm tired today, school sucked cause the instructors husband left her over the weekend, and she took it out on us, then I found out my student loan is getting held up cause H&R block screwed up my taxes last year, so I had to have that fixed. Then I found out my bridge card got cut off cause of a overuse of the system resulting in my representative not remembering to file my paperwork for the six month review... and I still have to study for a test tomorrow, and another on wednesday... I may cry...lol
