It should only be a mess, if it saves your butt from fire damage.

It's like the automatic sprinklers in restaurants, over their stoves/ovens. It has some sort of temperature sensor, if a fire starts below then the fire extinguisher automatically goes off.

It's actually an ingenious idea. A cheap way to retrofit automatic fire protection. I'm a bit skeptical at how well it'd work, since it's smallish, not going to be aimed at the base of the fire, etc, but it'd probably be better than nothing.

I didn't see the little heat sensor. I couldn't figure out why anyone, no matter how high they were, would think that stuff would help their plants!

Great idea, safety is pro active not reactive. Where did you purchase it? I did search Google and seems like they come from the UK and the shipping is 50.000 alone. Couldn't find a supplier in the states.
