Wsup all...

I have decided to start keeping mothers again(bonsai style of course)and figured I would bring you all along on my search for keepers.

Currently I have room to keep three mommys.

As of now I have (1) Larry OG and (1) DJ Short F-13 seedlings and (7) more Larry's germing as I type this all out.

Here are some pics I just snapped...sorry there so crappy...but Im soooooo freaking baked right now

& I cant seem to hold the darn camera still

So far out of the 7 beans I put in rapid rooters Thursday 2 have popped 3 are peeking at me and 2 still havent done anything...

Anyhow stay tuned and enjoy the show...any and all feedback is appreciated...good, bad and ugly=)

Yeah dude...Thankfully the girls I'll be harvesting soon will help me deal with the boredom

The first 30 days drag since I dont feed them until they are begging for it...but after that its all good since I start to see new growth daily

Good luck with finding some nice Mum's CAM. I like using the RR I find my success with seedlings and clones are the best they have ever been using them.

From you future Mum's what would you take from them and at what intervals?

Hey Lucky...Thanks for stopping by dude=)

I love my RR's they just make it so easy to pop them beans and root cuttings...I was at a 98% sucess rate but my last batch I got 100% failure

I can only credit that to this heat wave we just had...it was insane.

I even put my 400 Watt HPS away for the summer and broke out the 250 Watt HPS in hopes of keeping temps down but the girls in my flower cab started to canoe do to heat stress anyways...Next summer It's all outdoors for me unless I get into a better set up indoors by then...

Anyhow to answer your question dude...I'll be happy with pulling 6 big and healthy cuts for my use every 30-45 days...I am sure that I will end up with more clones than I can use...so anything excess will be donated to others in need or to the local collectives.

The reason I have decided to keep mothers again is in the event I have a failure on all my clones again I dont lose the strains...then have to go running around begging friends for cuts from cuts that I gave to them or buying cuts from the clubs..since the bud tenders seem to never know about the clones they are selling and you never really know what you are getting from them...with the exception of a few in my area...but it's still 20 bucks a cut and usually in rockwool which I'm not a fan of.

Gr8t idea then CAM. 20 bucks a cut X 6 = Big Savings I hear ya. Since this is my second grow now I actually have some good potential Mum"s myself now. My only concern is with my legal plant numbers. I am allowed 25 plants. I have 5 in flower 12 in clones I just cut plus the others ....10 and Aaaaaaah shyte I'm over. LOL

The good news for me if they decide to inspect me they give me 48 hours notice so I could move a few around.

The other way I could do it would be to clone just before flower but what if something terrible happens and they don't take? Aaaaaaaaaaah shyte again right.

I guess it is all about juggling.

Yeah...dude...Im Mr.Frugal...Im not cheap but I try to strech my cash the best I can and 120 bucks every 60-75 days is just wasting money...IMO

I always took my cuttings about a week after switching to 12/12 since they strech like a mo fo then...but I dropped the ball this last time and now Im sitting here thinking...Holly Shyte=)

My brother will be gettting legal this month and designate me as a caregiver so that will take care of my mommys...I am sure I will be over my count at times...but a trip to the clubs will take care of that in no time.

The plant limits set here in Cali are just plain dumb as far as Im concerned...they should take into consideration that some people dont have the room for (6)tree sized ganja plants and have to use many more small plants to meet their needs in a perpetual set up... atleast I do.

Well so far 6 out of 7 beans have popped...#6 is the only one that might be a dud...I will give it a few more days then toss if no sprout appears.

I topped the 2 bigger babies today...The Larry OG is a smelly little beast, smells promising...here are some pics=)

Here are some current pics...Nothing exciting.

The Larry OG and the F-13 seedlings have starting to fill in after being topped.

Out of the 7 larry og beans germd I have 5 healthy little sprouts...Number 6 popped but couldnt get the shell off and #7 was a dud...I will add more pics in about a week or so...Enjoy.

Nice babies there! I'm not legal but I know you need lots of clones for a perpetual grow. That law is kinda silly. Keep us posted on your success!!

Here are a few pics...

The First 2 pics are the DJ Short F-13 and the last pic is Cali Connection Larry OG...These pics are about a week old...the plants are now just under 2 months I think but really dont remember

each plant was no taller than 7" prior to haircuts.

I took a total of 12 nice cuts 6 off of each...now its time to see if they are pink or blue =)
