Hi there this is my 2nd grow and with a new strain Jack The Ripper. I have looked at many grows online and have never seen this before so I thought I would post it here.

I have buds growing from fan leaves? Not just one leaf but on 5 of them and looks like more are coming alont too. Only on one of the two JTR I have growing both in soil less mix just over 3 weeks into flower using GH nutes. I have it cloned so it would be cool if she was a real freak and I will keep her till the end of time. LOL

Very healthy and happy no problems just this unusual bud growth and I'm not complaining. I'm hoping some more experienced growers have seen this and nothing unusual at all about it.Jack The Ripper Plant 001.jpg

Wow I half figured someone would say this is normal it happens all the time. Ah but wait a little longer I know someone has seen this before.

I just can't get over the size of the buds I will get off fan leaves. And the leaves are covered in trichs.

I have no doubt it aint the holly grail, but it does look very cool to me since I've never seen anything like it. I have a clone too! woot woot

I have heard of this before....talk to Ileso about it. I can't remember where I heard it but I have heard it recently too....talking about it at least...but Ileso will know.

Sorry, that is all I got buddy! Looks great! WOW!!! Imagine if you had vegged this for like months then flowered it? You would have a huge yeild!

can you make more clones to be sure it lives on forever, maybe you can't while flowering,, I don't know much about cloning yet

Hey, try to get some seeds from it :D
That plant seems to be poliploid, would you get better buds on the leafs? Since the photosynthesis process is in the leaf the bud takes the energy direct from it.

I have 2 healthy clones of it prior to flowering her I did it. And I will get some more clones of her as soon as I can. It is only 3 weeks into flowering at approx 3 feet tall now. It looks like it will be solid once it fills in a bit. LOL

Well there you go I knew someone would've seen this before. I hope ileso has a look at it today so he can let me know what it is called when they do this.

And I have 6 toes on my left foot no pictures.

Great plant,great pics too,I want one......actually thats a lie..I want ten,twenty... ok thirty then!! Can't wait to see how she finishes.

By the way,you don't happen to own a dog with two tails,and a cat with it's very own creamery as well,lol.
