Give me your words of wisdom

I know we all get this way at one time or another ( Over stressed, to be on the brink of losing it ) Overstuffed schedules, the competing demands of family and work, the sting of setbacks and disappointments, and the trauma of a troubled economy can gang up to push us near the edge of the ledge.

One way I might do to take care of things is, I will turn my tv on, get the bed sheets nice and comfy, then I will go to the kitchen and make myself a large bowl of ice cream topped with butterscotch syrup and maybe a bag of Humpty Dumpty bbq chips, then back to my room to watch tv and get on line to GP lol... not really, it's been so long since I've had the guts to do that...lol

So I ask myself....

WILL THIS MATTER IN ANOTHER FIFE YEARS FROM NOW...
Of course the answer is no
If things feel like there crumbling down on you and you have forgotten all the good that is around you, do you catch yourself before you really fall, This morning I was so tense just because I couldn't get something to work on my computer,,, I eventually looked at myself and said..

DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE MULE GOING BLIND;JUST KEEP THE WAGON LOADED

I'm told that it's meaning is, You would be better off if you, Put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward...
Here are a few more things to say to ourselves when we need to stop for a minute and give ourselves a break...

--This isn't as important as your making it; don't let it rent space in your head.

--When life looks like it's falling apart, it may just be falling into place...

--How badly do you want what's on the other side of this wall I just hit...

--If everything is important, then nothing is...

--What is the absolute most important thing you should spend your precious time doing at this moment....

Some times we have to choose between the lessor of 2 evils.

If at first you don't succeed try,try again...

The road of life has many twists and turns and a few forks,
just choose your path wisely and remember you can't go back,
but you can start over!!!

No matter how bad you think it is,there is always someone that would be glad to trade places with you..

yep deb i agree i've been feeling that way for a while now and it makes me think again... what my dad always used to say... "son no matter how bad you think you have it there is someone out there that has it worse off than you do...."

and it makes me think the countries i have been to and the attrocities that i have seen hes right when he says " yep son it could have been worse be thankful for what you have"

me single dad of 3 who wudda ever thunk it possible

... if humanity doesnt respect itself or each other then what future exists for everything else? ... you know what my question is? its if we really will destroy ourselvesin the end or if we will flourish and colonize the cosmos... and what i see worries me ... yet at other times it encourages and excites me ...
