Cannabis Receptors and cannabis tolerance breaks

I believe there is a debate of cannabis not building a tolerance in the cannabis receptors and no need for breaks using them to increase the receptors response, only switch strains to entice the cannabis receptors again.


I flatly believe in breaks to increase the response, from 3 days to 6 weeks and that 60-70% leaves your body the first week and the last 30% in the fat cells that takes the rest of the 6 week maximum for a complete cleansing of any remaining residues of cannabis.

So, if I have the discipline to abstain for the maximum time can I conclude that my Cannabis Receptors will have maximum response and slowly drop off once again?

I used MMJ daily for well over 2 years straight and stopped in Mar. of this year. I had a fairly high tolerance, and could easily go through a goodly amount of bud, daily. Fortunately, back then I grew.

Been off it 100% since March, and today am going to renew my Med recommendation. I did smoke a bowl with a friend the other night, and just a couple hits had me stoned for hrs.

IF YOUR HEALTH WON"T SUFFER, I don't think there is anything wrong with a break now and then to allow some of the cannabinoids to depart the body (most importantly the liver, IMO).

Or, like said above...just change strains once a week...

i regularly break in the cycle.. anything from a week to a couple of months.. its great to feel healthy and clean like that .. plus after that any small amount of cannabis will waste you flat out. but i find it interesting just how fast my tolerance rises though...
