ventillation help please!!

im ready 2 build my room and buy all that i need but i CANT FIGURE OUT HOW MANY FANS i need and witch one is bigger witch one is smaller

can SOMEONE PLEASE!!!!!!!! explain to me what i will need 2 get and what cfm fans for my room....

i know stuff like ducting and lights add 2 the number of cfm but dont worry about all that i just need to know....


-what size intake
-what size outake
-where do i place the carbon filter
-do i need any other fans(besides Oscillating ones)
-is their somthing i missed?

my grow is a room inside a room... im using a spare bedroom but im going 2 build a room inside of it using pretty much the whole space but leaving some...

the specs for the actuall room it will be growing in are... 9ft wide 6ft long 9ft high... and that would be 486cfm?

dont know if this matters but their will be 2 1000w hps in their(ballist outside of actual grow room) and about 16 plants in the room 8 in each bed and i already have 3 16'' Oscillating fans

sounds pretty slick to me so far... how are you geting the exaust air out of the room that the grow room is built in? how are you geting new fresh air in?

im off work today... i havent even been out of the house except to get the twilight books from the ups delivery guy for my girlfriend... what happend?

but the totaly freek storm we had on tuesday was insain! the roof to a car dealership down the street blew off and trees are in liveing rooms....

tyvm links where very helpfull.. also iv decided instead of building the room out of wood im going 1 buy one of these grow tents....

its 9'6" x 9'6" x 6'7" and for a sealed room i figured it would be alot more efficent then anything i could build... so now that i got my specs.... tell me if i got this down right...

my room needs 617cfm give or take with ducting and such and i need about 1/4th that for the intake fan...

im going 2 get fresh air either for the window in the room or just use the bedroom next to it


also i want 2 get a enviormental controler... any anyone got any advise on these.. never used one b4 or heard much so dont know witch ones are good...

im not looking to use c02 atm but i think on my 2ed grow im going 2 try it out...

also im going 2 have another room im using for clones/veg.. am i going 2 need anyything for this room really? i was just going 2 have the mothers and clones under some cfl's and then veg under MH... i got a few osillating fans but didnt know if i needed a whole intake/outake system for this room.....

should i be useing 2 1000w's or 3 600w's ?or what would anyone reccomend for best harvest

vedging is just as important as flowering if you ask me its when you build the frame work for your bud factory... you need good ventilation in there too. but you dont have to worry abought humidity quite as much....

for your grow room are you gona run a seprate fan for your lights? like (ducting----light----duckting---light-----duct----exaust fan? ) if you keep the aircooled lights on a seprate line of duct(not useing that fan to ventilate the grow room.) i think it would be easyer to control temps. and you dont have to worry abought the filter slowing down your air flow your useing to cool the light...

is their a way 2 determin how big of fan i will need 2 cool the lights
