Iv'e got four sick plants! Help!

4 of my 15 clones currently vegging have turned yellow! The leaves are a bright green to yellow green color and the leaf stems, as well as the main stems are turning purple. It is not uncommon to see purple leaf stems with the Grapefruit, as I have been growing clones of it for almost a year.

My first thought is over fert, I just fed them for the first time last week. It was a tea of peruvian seabird guano, Fox Farm big bloom, and molasses. The other plants are loving it, but these four aren't. I flushed them well last night in hopes of reviving them.

Is there any other reason this might be happening? I ph my water to 6-6.5, havent' tested the soil ph though.

sounds like mag. def. to me..I use a teaspoon of epson salt in 5 gallons of water...

any pictures to help us diagnose? What strain are these clones, are you familiar with the strain?

I love that guano I use it too...it smells like guano should...bad..lol

Interesting. I've got a couple plants with purple stems also (main stem). Otherwise they look totally healthy. I can post a pic if need be.

Strains are Cinderella 99, and 2 local strains. Seems more prominent on the Cindy 99.

The reason I ask for pics is that alot of plant problems can sound the same...i.e. yellowing leaves, brown crispy leaves etc.

Sorry I can't post any pics cuz I don't have a camera or a way to upload. The leaves are not dying or turning crispy, they are just yellow. It really looks like an overdose of nitrogen to me. The strain is Grapefruit and I have been growing it for a year, like I said purple leaf stems are common, but I have never seen it on the main stem. On the worst of the four, some leaves have purple veins too. The leaves are usually dark green. I know that PSG can raise the ph, but my flush run off was 6.5??

I'll see how they do with the flush I suppose, then add some epsom next watering. If they don't make it it's not a huge deal, but I would really like to use all the space available. Flowering starts 10/1.

ok let them dry out and get some oxygen . Sorry but i cant remember is it soil or hydro? And can you get some super thrive?

It's soil, organics. Fed with a tea of Peruvian Seabird guano (2 tbsp/ gallon), fox farm Big Bloom (1tbsp/gal) and molasses (2 tsp/gal) then that tea was diluted to make two gallons. I also use Pirahna and Tarantula bacteria and fungi watered into the soil as well.

I have a feeling that these four clones were somehow stunted shortly after rooting, they seemed to lag behind the others. Maybe they were still too fragile for the tea?

Yeah it's tough to guess, and I don't like to give advice if I can't see. I don't want to screw you up you know. What size pots are they in? Also epsom salt works nice so does Cal/Mag, but it doesn't sound like a Mag def to me.

I'm with the others if you can borrow a camera or something. It doesn't sound like a mag deficiency, and I wouldn't go throwing salts in an organic grow on a hunch, they can throw your whole microcommunity into upheaval. If you can get some pics, great, if not we need all the details you can give to help us help you.

Dude, I can't tell from your picture, what is wrong, but maybe this will help you diagnose it?

Many Sativas flower with different traits than they veg with. Nutrients and hormones are spread funky all over the plant, and certain nutrients are moved to other places and such. i would wait it out and see. If you aren't getting any necrosis.
