is this a sign of germination?
i started 10 bagseeds (from some kb i got a couple weeks ago) yesterday morning at 10am. i had to move them today so i decided to see how they were doing. there are no roots visible yet. i picked up one the seeds and pinched it between my pointer and thumb nails like i did when i first got the seeds to see if they were any good. i used about the force as before and it actually cracked this seed. the inside was a bunch of white stuff and it felt pretty moist. i also noticed that a different seed looked like a layer of the seed was starting to come off or something. im just wondering if this is a sign that seeds are starting to germinate? im just getting excited

I don't want to start a big long debate here, but why don't you just plant them straight into soil ? It usually only takes 3 - 7 days for them to sprout, you cause less stress to the plant and save it from a possible fungal infection.
The only reason not to plant them in soil starting out in my opinion is impatience and wanting to see something happen.
