Hey there! Hope all is as it should be. Not sure if I'm in the right place, but I have a question about traveling with MedM. I have the letter from my doc., and am going away for a bit. Can I bring it with me? I don't think its legal in the state I am visiting, so don't know what to do.

Yes, you have to respect the laws/regulations in each state. Or be subject to the courts, if caught. Peace.

it doesnt matter if you have a medi card for your state state laws vary and you will be prosecuted if you are caught with marijuana in a non med state.

yes i would hate to wonder what sort of trouble you would be in to cross state lines with something illegal... you'd just end up being one more number in the statistics...

Even states that have mm programs each state does not recognize other states laws. So what applies at home doesn't apply on the road. If the state is non-med I wouldn't chance it.

NO, do not travel with Meds. We had a big case in So. Utah and he had Meds with him, he was charged and I think he is still fighting the charges.

If you use this method just store them in a vitamin bottle,or some other herbal medicine bottle and mail it to yourself at the address where you'll be staying...(mail yourself a small care package with soap,hair gel,deodorant,mouthwash etc this gives them something to look at if they x-ray)

Very good advise.The law dosent like mj meds and wants to put you in jail for it even that it keeps you alive.They should have a love one be sick and the only cure is MJ.They would jump on the other side of the fence for sure.I think it's called turn coats.If you got to go there try the pills you can make and take them.it's less of a chance of going to jail.Peace

There are a few states that do recognize licenses from out of state. Michigan is one for sure. I have also heard (but have not fact checked for myself) Oregon, Rhode Island, Montana too.

I live in an RV full time and do travel. I have found that the Best thing to do is to go to NORML.org and check out the laws of the states you will be traveling through. Be sure to check medical and non medical laws, and also check to see in medical necessity is a valid legal defense in the states. This way you have to know how careful to be. If I know a states laws are particularly strict, I either find a way around or I find the shortest route through to a safer area.

Edibles, Tincture, and tea are a great way to avoid telling aromas that can get you into trouble as well. There are some places in my area that make all natural pills (not marinol) as well. Also there are some creams and salves that can help you dose on the sly. There are pipes available that look like cigarettes. This can be helpful if you really need some smokeable meds but are in a car.

I would also advise using your own transportation instead of a plane, train, or bus.xmas2.gif
