Question Growing mediums?

I have my 1 week old plants in peat(cardboard like) growing mediums... i went into the the room earlier and felt as if i were smelling a hint of mold coming from the mediums.. i increased air flow, raised them up on a rack so air can flow underneath them as well. i think the peat mediums suck the moisture out of the dirt as well? Any advice would be Great!!!

Question

I feel unprepared now... I'm using OMRI Listed, "Alaska fish fertilizer", all purpose deoderized fish emulsion. It's ratio is 5-1-1... Will this stuff work ok?

When I am feeling organic, I've used fish emulsion along with some seaweed juice in veg and have gotten nice results.

Welcome to GP. There are two FAQs on the main page left side in red. Read through those and ask if you do not understand something. There are a lot of knowledgeable that belong to this site. Not only the staff, but the entire membership will give you a hand. Pictures of problems are most helpful so you better have a camera.
