Default Vendors for component LEDs

I'm looking for vendors that sell the high output LEDs at the right frequencies. I'm focusing on 5mm LEDs since they are available in a wide range of frequencies and can be spaced close together for a large, condensed array of different colors (but I'm open to using other types). So far these two seem the best for 5mm LEDs:

RadioShack.com - the nation's most experienced and trusted consumer electronics specialty retailers.
Super Bright LEDs - LED Products and Accessories

Here's what I have so far for the main frequencies:

662 nm

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103802&tab=features

642 nm

453 nm

430 nm

The 450 nm has been particularly hard to find. When I started out I thought these would be easy to find (ie radio schack) but it's proven difficult. Any vendor tips are appreciated!

Are you planning to grow, solely with the 5mm leds? I HIGHLY recommend this site to you.I dont claim to be the know it all led guy-but if you're going to DYI-you might as well go with the most current, efficient, leds you can find. And as for the red and blue diode specs-you really want to go 660nm for red 460nm for blue, and I cant recommend 615nm-orange enough. Also, I'd consider adding about 10-15% white to fill in any spectrum gaps.Check out the 3w diode leds. And def check out the link I posted.peace

Thanks for the replies bf! I've followed your LED thread and appreciate your advice. My 'cab' is a rubbermaid which I posted details here:

CFL / Rubbermaid grow

Ironic that I had those same links in my post as 'to read'! :D

I've done some reading on the LedEngin products. The 660nm 'deep red' may work but the other frequencies, such as the blues, are off. I also couldn't find a supporting data sheet on the deep red led.

The reason I'm liking 5mm is because there are so many choices of colors and I can get the exact frequencies. I'm running a 12v system in the cab so I'm looking to be as efficient as possible with everything. Perhaps I'm being too anal with wanting the exact wavelength?

I like this guy's approach, I'm thinking of doing something similar:
