There will be lots of grows out there. We are giving deep discounts to people who post their grows. So, there will be lots.

I am expecting it to be more in the 400 watt range though, 180, Im just not buying it without seeing the numbers myself. You'd be talking about over 5 grams per watt when other current LED systems are lucky to get .5 grams per watt.

Ill be watching your journal.

I just had to post-6951A-quit being so damn cheap and put out the paltry sum to find out for yourself.I mean with your pounds of weed, you could easily put aside some cash to find out for yourself.I mean, is 400US really gonna kill you.You spend so much of your time here that if you're not interested enough to undertake your own led grow, whats the point?I mean you post here just as much, if not more than anyone else.Start a grow journal, and post your own results, instead of constantly questioning the results of others. This section needs action people. Not a bunch of doubters waiting to refute everything that someone who's actually using the tek is doing.6951a- you want so badly for someone else to prove or disprove this led thing-might be time to take a little initiative because to be honest,I could care less who you are, how you grow, and what proof you need.Peace out yal

Don't take it personally, bf. It's just business.

I don't profit off cannabis in any way. Don't assume I have stacks of cash.

I have personally been involved in experimental LED grows, using the most effecient LEDs on the market at the time, the Cree Xlamp. Half a gram per watt was the result.

I don't care to spend the time and effort to setup grow after grow for every new LED light. If someone makes the statement, "this LED beats HPS hands down", I have an expectation that some DATA should be around, somewhere on which that statement can be based.

Excuse me for posting so much from my phone while I wait in line, take a dump, smoke a blunt.

Edit: you take this really personally which makes me think you have an insecurity about this issue, relax bro, its a discussion forum, we are discussing.

Let's all have a smoke huh?

You would rather have 2-180s than a 350. It's better to have them spaced a foot apart to hit the plants from different angles.

For any kind of deal, you have to call the office in Florida. I'm not in the sales dept, though. So, I don't do transactions or give discounts.

I just love the lights.

you said earlier in the post that to really see what leds can do in flower u need the 350 or 700 so is the 350= 2 180s or how does that work

Here's the caveat, though: there is a fundamental flaw with the 90 watt systems. They are good - far better than you would think. But, 90 watts just isn't enough power to really get the most bang for your buck. The new 180 watt Jumbo UFO would be ideal for a 5' x 5' space, though, as long as you don't want 6' tall plants with buds all the way down.

The 90 and 180 watt UFOs are composed entirely of 1 watt LEDs. The 350 and 700 have 1 watt and 3 watt LEDs. The 3 watt units have a long reach. They will penetrate through your canopy fairly deeply. The 1 watt units don't - especially at higher wavelengths.

So, a 5-band UFO is a huge improvement over the 3-band models. But, to really see what LED can do, I suggest getting a hybrid model (350 or 700).
this is it

I'm not sure of the date on that post. But, we only got the first 5-bands in July. It took us a few months to figure out how to best use them, to be honest.

No way can a 180 cover a 5' x 5' space. In flower, it's 2' x 2'. In veg, you could go as far as 4' x 4'.

Go to the site for the latest, most accurate, info.
