Folks, I've sent the old one, and was only able to gather 465 signatures.This time, I'm doing it right.Not only will the president receive this new petition, but also congress and the senate, in addition to the news media. I've put the new petition on a new site,(no more annoying donation screen)and am also going to do some research on advertising it(limited budget, so for free).I have a few people who are going to be passing it out at the marijuana march for me,and someone who has said they can probably get me a few thousand sigs.Please bear with me, as the first petition was my first petition EVER, and I was a little lost. The form letters I received from the media,the white house,have only doubled my determination to see this through and do it right.
