To start this off,
id like to thank waterloo regional police and swat for making the arrest of another non-violent crime offender.

the amount police estimated is also off by 10,000, but of course thats the media feeding to the general publics fear

a few months ago on the same street there was a lady waiting for the bus at 8am and was gun down and died on the scene
the shooter was never caught.
thankfully they've arrested me for growing marijuana plants in the basement of my home for my own personal use ..
i, like the rest of u am a pot smoker, and have been for the past 14 yrs ..
i lost my job due to the worlds recession 2 days before christmas and didnt make enough money to continue buying the marijuana smoke that we all enjoy
and keep up with my bills at the same time
so, i decided to grow my own ..
using a 1000 watt hps kit with an outtake fan and an oscillating fan in and 8x8 room, and the help of this forum
my grow started
i even got my first batch out, which out of 10 seeds i ended up with only 3 females
i was starting on my second grow using 15 cuttings from the 3 i've originally bloomed ..
when on thursday, june 4th 2009
the day of my daughters daycare graduation i woke up preparing for a grad party i was throwing for her,
bought her a new step 2 activity desk for her graduating daycare and moving onto kindergarten this september,
well as i was jus about finished building her desk at 1:30pm, i needed a smoke break ..
regular cigarette, no marijuana on that day since it was a big family event
i went outside to have a smoke, when around the corner rushes out swat ready with a battering ram to break in my door
they yell for me to get on the ground, face in the grass and im cuffed in a matter of secs ..
they run inside my home thinking its gonna be filled with plants, but all they ended up seeing is the family life that i live
with toys over running the house, video games, consoles, computers, balloons and cake for my daughters grad ..
i kept everything in the basement cuz of course i have kids around and theres no need for them to see the things that i do ..
my sister, not knowing any of this going on since shes jus moved in a couple months ago ..
gets a hearty yelled "SWAT TEAM" wake up call, my gf pulls in and we're all hauled off to the station.
i missed my daughters grad, my gf (which is the mother of my daughter), also missed her first grad
we've been there for her first everything, and it tore me up inside sitting in that cell watching the time pass me by knowing that my daughter is having a grad
but no parents to be there to share her joy.
what tore me up the most was knowing that what i did made my gf miss her daughters first grad
because of the fact that we were arrested for something that THEY say is wrong
not anything wrong humanely, like a killer or someone selling heroin on the streets
but something they say is wrong, people who havent had any real experiences with life or drugs
who jus read and get told that its bad for you, cops, lawyers, judges and jus about any authority figure
it pisses me off that a family on this block has to live without a mom becuz of some random shooter that hasnt been caught
and im getting arrested for growing marijuana to smoke and save some money cuz i dont wanna take away food from my family cuz of my habits
so thank you to all the arresting officers and swat that surrounded my block to arrest me.
get a life, and stay the **** outta mine

Sorry my brother,I hate to ask this but How did they know? It is really dissapointing to keep hearing about people like you and me getting hassled.

you can expect that kind of thing from the press

im sorry and i hope everything works out, my wife and I are in the middle of trying to beat our own federal case as well. there are many ways some of these lawyers get these things dismissed.

our charges- cultivating, trafficking, manufacturing marijuana on federal property, a navy base

federal penelaty (by book) 1-5 years locked up

what my lawyer says- i will be banned from that base (big deal)

(edit) what i paid for the lawyer- $0 (public defenders in the federal system are not like the public "pretenders" in state and superior courts, the federal defenders are actually very good lawyers

these kind of things seem to get a little better further down the road

(edit again) oh wait, your in canada aye? sorry if this fed/state/superior is all mumbo jumbo. if you were to explain canadas government it would be mumbo jumbo to me. it took me 26 years to figure out my own government of the USA, and to think those bas%ards were legit?!?!?!?!

no clue how i was caught, i guess i'll find out in court ..

thanks everyone for all the love and support over this,
its nice to talk to ppl who understand the real situation instead of whats been told to them by the media ..
jus today my gf was out in the backyard taking care of the lawn ..
when neighbors 2 houses down came out and treated my gf like she was a zoo animal,
calling all the other family members to come out and see the ppl who got arrested ..
even tho she had/has nuthing to do with my habits
u kno, since i been here .. i've never caused trouble or even made a noise
i've even had my daughter, niece and nephews playing out in the front yard ..
but becuz of the slandering media in my town, we've become a spectacle for the ppl in my neighborhood

deep, i hope everything works out for you too bro .. it sucks to see the way the world really is, but im glad im not one of them

thanks for all the support and advice, i greatly appreciate having understanding ppl around at times such as this ..
