anything new M$ has put out, i'd wait about 6months to 1year to let people find the bugs in it and for the first service pack or two to be released..

very true, and sound advice. the reason i am considering this is due to the October timebomb for the beta builds.

totally agree. remember how much trouble Vista was when it first came out? in fact some customers were even given a free copy of Windows XP Pro to down-grade to because some of their stuff didn't work, or some programs locked it up and whatnot - LOL. id def let windows 7 play out for awhile and fix the kinks before i use it full time. although i do kinda wish i had the system so i could put it on another partition and try it out at least.

Only driver issue I have is my wireless driver which is an Atheros AR5007EG, it can see my router but for some reason I cant connect to my network. I put the password in and it searches but then a msg comes up saying theres a wireless issue and it trys to reslove it but it doesnt find a solution but I think it's the driver itself not working not the adapter :/

you may have to download the driver you need, as opposed to using a generic one that windows may be utilizing.

Ok well im using a ASUS M3A32-MVP MoBo, 2gb ram, ATI radon x1650 (lol its legacy and Vista legacy driver worked, Yay) Ok so i got the windows updates and that Atheros driver was listed there, I also tried the supplyed driver that came with my mobo wich was a xp driver and that caused BSOD, which I was able to recover from via startup repair. So far I Havn't gotten a driver to work for it but I expect asus will soon update drivers for windows 7(this borad isnt that old). But if u come across any drivers let me know ;)
