free bug/adware killer

Hey guys, this just crossed my mind as i added "Spybot - search&destroy" to my pc - the Norton as mcafee couldn't find all those bugs anymore but the 12 "svchost" entries in my task manager just looked too suspicious not to be some bug or similar - 2-3 are normal but 12!!!? holy molly we got some bug here for sure!

it is not the fastest program but it finds it customer very well - more then 200 bugs so far

aye, good post, m8! Spybot Search and Destroy is one of the better programs out there. And free ta boot!

oh right, i missed the best of all which you pointed out so well: IT IS FOR FREE AND ITS GREAT!!! i used s&d already years ago, been my first anti-virus software, but back then it been a pain to work with. But today this is such a great tool, i love it!

Can Spybot S&D be used with McAfee? Sometimes, free add-ons screw up with anti-virus software. I had a heck of a time when I had Norton. I am very pleased with McAfee. So far, anyway.

i have still that mcafee on and running - on another pc i got norton running along with S&D without any trouble besides that all bugs are now gone and the only anti-bug software that pleases me right now is S&D - neither Norton nor macafee found any of those bugs and still i had em in my pc's system...

I been running s&b for 4 years and no trouble.The only one that it has any problems with and it's not a big problem is pest protrol.I got mind at Major Geeks .com.They have alot of free down loads of everything. Good sotfware. PEACE

have you used the immunize feature yet i used it about a month ago and every time i've scanned since i havent found anything on my system

pappy i noticed when i use to use mcafee it cuased me not to be able to use some of my pc games which were basicly any of the star-wars games i swithed to webroots spy sweeper with anti virus and found many viruses that the mcafee didn't find but since i switched to the s&d and immunized my system i havent found any kinds of viruses or spywear since i'm so satisfied i'm going to let my perscription lapse cuase i don't feel it's needed anymore
