| AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition, LavaSoft Ad-Aware, and Zone Alarm Free (or Pro) + Firewall (or windows firewall) I am MCSE and A+ certified with computers, and I'm in college so I'm cheap. Google those 3 and you'll be good with security, and it keeps the wallet full ;-).

| Yeah I use zonealarm too, you would be a fool to use the microsoft firewall. If someone is smart enough to hack your xp machine, there smart enough to get past there firewall too. I've always used zone alarm and never regreted it either.

| oh and i forgot to say. never, EVER, EVVEEEERRR use Internet Explorer. there are so many security issues and holes in it, and its tied into explorer.exe, your operating system's interface. download firefox.

| make sure you are downloading it from the mozilla firefox websites. lots of sites will try and copy the download and add their own "special ingredients" to get your information. Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable
