Default Risk in online ordering

How much risk is involved in getting growing supplies sent to your house from an online source? In terms of it being a catalyst to your inevitable arrest. I ordered alot of things online from a few different places, would it be a good idea to start a legal hydro grow in plain view as a sort of front?

Any input is appreciated.

To answer the last part of your question, I wouldnt not do a hydro grow in plain sight, I know your talking tomatoes and stuff, but its a bad idea.

Most people will figure if your doing tomatoes in hydro, you must be doing weed in the basement too.

UPS is a better way to ship, than USPS, as they are a private company, and there only concern is making a buck too. They only comply with the government when ordered to do so.

Almost ALL grow supplies come in plain brown boxes. They usually are not labeled, "1000 watt marijuana grow light".

alright cool, but on my credit card it says "hydroponic growing supplys" and when i say plain view, i mean more like not hidden in an attic, but like out in the kitchen, a little herb garden kind of thing, which i wouldnt mind having anyway.

Unless I really felt like I was "under-the-gun" with LEO, I wouldn't have any concerns about buying anything legal and having it shipped to me. People are involved in commerce every day, and for the Gov't to watch all your packages, and your credit card bills (private until subpoena or request is issued) just doesn't make sense.

I am cautious, not paranoid. Common sense tells me that buying a lamp, ballast, bucket or anything else leagally sold in the US, for use in a legal activity, is none of anyone else's business. Unless they can prove an illegal activity there is no reason for LEO to even give it a nod.

Still, Video has some points, and if you are concerned about it the alternative credit card sounds like an option.

My 2 centavos worth...

I wouldnt worry unless your gonna buy one of everything. I do 75% of all buying online, especially ebay. I'm not sure as to one item that is perdominantly for growing marijuana. If they gave up there customers because of what they might be doing they wouldnt have any customers.

If I was worried I'd go with videos idea of he prepaid credit card. You could probably even add a business name for shits and giggles like Hobo's nursery. Online ordering is perfectly fine IMO I've been doing it for years..bought cars... motorcycles...you name it I bought it online. Just watch who you do business with..word of mouth is the best.

Dont worry about your credit card bill unless your worried about someone else seeing it in your house, the cedit card companys are in it for the money plus hydroponics store..isnt as bad as "marijuana grow lights" Maybe you bought a submersable pump for your pond from the hydro store.

I think you have nothing to worry about

they can't search your bill without an warrent - if they do so without they can't get one for your place or will fail on technicalities in court.

if you want no paper trail guiding to your place order from a friends pc that is located miles away from our place, use either cash or prepaid debit cards and have them ship it to a friends place. doing it that way should keep you of any radar screen concerning shopping online.

Wink

My nearest hydro store is about 1.5 hours away. I buy big ticket items there and pay cash (lights, replacement bulbs, etc.). Supplies such as nutes I order online 'cause my place looks like a tree farm, anyways.
