I am planning on buy seeds from a seedbank, and I have read not to have them sent to the address of your growroom. So I am thinking about a p.o.box. But my questions is would that be safe, I mean since the post office runs the p.o., would this get me jammed up. Or would it be safe. Also does the p.o. have to be in my name, does post office have to have any sensitive info about me like my real name, where I really live etc. Can someone help me on how to safely as possible get the seeds in my hands. THanks yall. |

To et a PO Box you will more than liekly need ID and proof of residency in the area...like a paid utility bill/etc. in your name.
That said....ANYTHING you do is traceable. If they want you they will find you. HOWEVER, the chances of anyhting happening/them coming after you for importation of cannabis seeds is almost unheard of. the only time i heard about a bust was the guy who had aq HASH OIL lab in his basement and I'm 99.9% sure they were already onto him/he was already TOAST before the seed shipment.
I have a PO box and have had about 25 seed orders shipped there w/no problems. IF your seeds are intercepted you will recieve a letter from Uncle sam telling you you were a BAD BOY....
then you have to scramble for yet ANOTHER address....
good luck. Don't let your own paranoia take you out. Folks order seeds everyday here..... tell em kids!

I believe the answer may depend on whether you are a legal State Medical Marijuana patient or not. Personally, I don't worry about any of this anymore because I have been deemed LEGAL to procure seeds, clones and marijuana by my state. If the Fed's would ever do anything to interrupt that process I would simply demand my state attorney general act on my behalf and demand the return of my legal property.
Beyond that, as WW stated above, you can take your chances and hope the Feds don't keep your shipment and send you a letter informing you of their actions.

and you won't have any trouble. They are not going to arrest you for seeds it's not worth the time. I hear they send you a letter telling you how much of a bad boy/girl you are.
Relax and send out good vibes.

Hey there outcast there are also retail mail outlets that offer mail box and mail forwarding services. Many of these outlets don't require much in the way of ID.
You can open an account and pay in advance for the box and they will even email you when mail comes in. I'm in Canada and there are many here. Not sure if they have them in the States but they might.
Check in the small business section of your newspaper or local chamber of commerce centre.

I couldn't find any verbiage in the michigan MMJ Act that says that patients have the right to import seeds and the State of MI will back them up. I see where you can have an "incidental" amount of seeds/stems/stalks...but nothing about importation.
and if they were found and they didn't come looking for ME...I sure wouldn't go lookin' for them or demanding the seeds back!
then again...I already have a whole bucket full of seeds sittiing here.
I know my State makes it clear that they have NOTHING to do with procurement of seeds/clones/smokeable meds and give no help in that area under **any** curcumstances.
If MI is different, I appaud that...and I'd love to see how it is worded in the law to allow it to propose it to the registry here in my State.
be safe everyone.
