Thanks for posting that. My grow is in the basement, in a cinder block room. a cold room, so I am not worried too much, but someone could benefit.

What's this have to do with Canada?
I live in ontario and the cops here are too poor to afford a helicopter and forget about a flir system. And I haven't seen a helicopter fly around in over 4 years, maybe in big cities, even then it's mostly for hospital use, not cops.

He was being kind and thinking of his freinds. Thanks Nim.
I live in Ontario as well and we get a lot of coptors here as we are near a
military base. Also can feel the mortors when they do field training.

I don't know. If it is in the attic it will have a heat signature. If you have it lower, i don't know.

to not ahve a heat signature it has to be insulated, inside a cab or something. as long as its not a room on the exterior of the house its fine. and if it is, then extra insulation will be needed to eliminate the heat signature, including for any windows.
best to grow in a basement or somewhere inside the house.

I live in Ontario Canada more precisely a community called York Region. It has been a long time since they purchased a heliocopter with FLIR for exactly this reason drug enforcement.
It should also be told they have no problem lending the whirly bird out to other close municipalities that don't already have one.
This was something the mayor of Toronto got all hot and bothered about that he couldn't have such a toy. And believe me I live within 3 blocks of the local cop shop and they fly it all over the darn place.
Here is a link to see it. It is the police link I hope it is okay to post here? Home
In Ontario it used to say on out license plates "Yours to Discover" Soon to be changed to "You will be Discovered"
