I have raised this concept in a previous post concerning photo fire alarms synced up with a non-subscribed alarm system. I have found exp'ncd electricians in the forums, but what about cable/network installers? I KNOW one of you boys could program an alarm interface to call a private line as long as it had its own phone line to dial out of, right? All the smarties plan for the WCS right?(worst case scenario) How advantageous would it be to have a 3-5 min. head start on an electrical spark fire or a break-in? I am DIY researching it right now.

theres camera software to monitor your cams from any place you can get the interwebs, some of em have motion alarms and i think i saw one that would call ya... not good for fire, but for a break in. N hell yeah it would be advantageous...

I can see someone rushing home from work only to try and get all the plants out and disposed of in time to save the structure...
Would be safer to get some sprinklers IMO.

Would be nice for breakins though. I also believe that if someone breaks in your house and its not by dumb luck some random burgluar then the jig is already up because someone knows your growing and security has been broken.
Would you really stay in a house to grow if it had been broken into for pot or someone broke in and stumbled upon the secret garden?
I wouldent feel safe thats for sure.
