have any of you run into sexual exploitation of intimidation in the marijuana community?

Have I got some stories for you! The thing is if we don't clean this up, society in general will be much more resistance to giving us and this wonderful plant the acceptance and respect it and we deserve as users, both men and women.

I'll go first...

The clinic I went to in Riverside, Cali, opened and operated by the NORML organization hired a doctor for their clinic that asks women behind closed doors in his office if he can see their breasts!! I was shocked and completely thrown! I'll never go back to him and I will never send a female patient to him, that's for sure. You cant tell me that the folks that hired this guy don't know his attitude towards women.

But that is not extrodinary in this community. things like this and much worse are happening all the time and something needs to be done. This is a form of intimitation that keeps us out, that keeps us silent...

There are many wonderful men that understand this issue and support us because they understand that the marijuana community needs us as much as it needs them and they want our input and help.

It is only a few that are giving the community a bad name. Most of the guys I meet are the most wonderful men ever!

So, what about it? Any stories of exploitation from any other girls?

Oh do I get it! It is not only in person. Here, I am pretty much the only woman, and I am the boss, by consenus, running this site. Today I had someone from another site try to overwhelm me with their brass ones. I must tell you that at first, considering it was 6:45 am , I was a bit intimidated. And not awake yet. Once I woke up and caught on what they where trying to do, I did not at all give in and with my pacifist way, never attacking them, I stated THE facts and MY facts, and they backed down. And aquessed. Now, men might think they have the strength and bully power over women, like my ex husband, but us women have brass ones too, and they are far more powerful. Brass ovaries that is. I am a powerful woman. I do it with compassion, kindness, friendship and most important, with honesty. but if you try to intimidate me, I will also hit you with my strength, which is my intelligence and feeling for RIGHT. And power does not at all mean size. It is something totally different than that. Any powerful person knows that.

Much respect sister. I can not abide bullies in any shape or sex. Sexism works both ways. Anyway I would have loved to have seen this guys face when you so gently removed his brass ones. I do agree that women see this much more often than men.

I prefer to work with women and to be treated by them when ill. My doctors are women and great doctors. I like that most women in medicine are more careing than the men.

Why cant we all just smoke a bong and chill.

Like I said by FAR the men are truly WONDERFUL and stand by our side while we build miracles together, there are just those that DO need to be delt with.

I too, use the weapons of kindness, truth, light and love to fight this battle. It IS more powerful than aggression or anger!
