Hi Ladies and how you doing this evening,, Jangel I am so sorry your son is having another bad spell,, I watch my nephew who has the same illness, he has his up and wired, gets a new idea in his head, stays up for house, Then he comes down, usually ends up back in the hospital, mostly from not taking his meds is what causes these outrageous mood swings,, But then there is times he is the person we all used to know, the sweetest person you could ever meet, It is his mom who takes care of him, checks on him, makes most disissions for him, She will be taking care of him for the rest of her life..
You are doing a great job Jangel, You have been doing the best anyone could do. And like you said, It was important to keep piece for your daughter, it just wouldn't of been fare to her. I'll pray for your son, I wish for a peaceful time for you and your family.....

I know, I know DW. Yesterday he was asking why I let people pour hot coffee on him and rape him....of course it never happened. And then he says "Why do you have hamsters inside your head?" It breaks my heart. Every day...it breaks my heart.
Oh, you poor dear, Jangel! I really wish it weren't the case... that's so hard to deal with...
It sounds like you've done the best anyone could do, so don't worry that you could've or should've done anything differently. We have to accept some really hard things in our lives..
Oh, I hope things get settled down soon for you, Kiddo! Hang in there!
If you need more cleaning to do, you can come over! heh

Thank you DW! What a beautiful song! I am somewhat back to normal. Haven't heard from my son. I do know he is better, at least yesterday, back on his meds. He is now living with his dad since last month, so at least, until the man loses his cool as he does, he is safe.
Today I am back to "Paying it Forward" and I know, if we all do it right, everyone everywhere will feel the impact of our kindness.
Isn't that all we really can do in life? So much we cannot change. But we can make the world a little kinder for someone else, someone we might never ever meet, but we all can make a difference.
I know you all do this...I have seen it. Let us all Pay it Forward!
That is an excellent movie, When I go shopping and look around to all the people who are looking straight ahead unaware of who is around them, it can be such a lonely sad feeling. You smile and no one smiles back, they look as though they are using all their energy just to not look at you. So what I do is, I will sit in the parking lot for a minute, tell myself I will smile and make eye contact, I get out of my car, hold my head up high and do just that. My actions will at least have an affect on one persons day, At least there will be one more person smiling...Green Passion is a place full of people and knowledge that truly does make a difference for some one out there each and every day....Have a great day Ladies,, See Me Smiling,,,lol

Yes, Deb, that is so very true! There is one store in particular I go to that has a lot of seniors near it. I would hate to think of my dear 87 year old mum having to do it all on her own. She is 4 ft 8 inches and 75 lbs. Walking can be a challenge. She also has ostioporosis. I know she might not survive if she had to do this for herself. I always see some dear older person struggling to shop, handle a cart, get their groceries home. I think quite often that many of these old ones have no one to help them. It is up to them to get their shopping in, with their little money and even smaller energy. A smile to them, when they are always alone, many of them, can mean the world. At this same store they require you to pay a quarter for the cart, which you get back when you return it and link it up with others. I see many of these elders struggling to get thier quarters out of their slim change purses, and get it into the slot, then struggle to unlink the cart from the rest. It is most difficult for many. I try to find someone and just give them my cart, to make them smile and know someone somewhere noticed their struggle and tried to make it that much eaiser for them. It is just a little thing, but for some, it means a lot.
I used to tell my kids to try and do a kind thing for someone, and to not get caught. I still do that. It makes me feel less alone in the world. And hopefully, it will make someone else feel the same.

Peace
where their children are? I love to see a daughter or son or grand thereof escorting and assisting their elder loved one. It is always seems like these adult children helpers are so happy and content. I wish all the olde folks that are struggling would have their families look after them better
My brothers compete over who is the better son and spoil my mom rotten. lucky her...
You know Jangel I have a lump in my throat thinking of those elderly people, I see it all the time, I have come across some who have a hard time, they may have dropped something and honestly the people will walk right past them... All we can do is be ourselves and be the ones to help, My dad was a big influence regards to helping thy neighbor,,,,, I think I have passed it on down to my kids,

i just got a call from my narcissist alcoholic mother. She gave me a whole song and dance about all these sick folks she knows that cope fine without marijuana, why can't I? My family is mad at me because i haven't gone down the hill to attend any family functions this year. They don't consider the fact that I was bitten by a desert recluse spider and had arthritis in my feet so bad that i wasn't able to walk or drive the whole year.
They criticize me because i refuse to go and spend the day somewhere where I can't medicate and they don't allow it at their homes. Alcohol and cigarettes and baby asprin that actually DO kill folks are just fine
Well, the fact of the matter is, I am legal, and I NEED this medication! I cannot function without it. I was in bed for years before i started using it. When she started to criticize me for that, I asked how in the world was I supposed to get down there when I couldn't walk or drive and where were my brothers and sisters when they knew I needed help? Not one asked how I was doing or if I needed anything! She told me to shut up and I hung up on her.
she was slurring her speech anyway, and that's always annoying..
don't worry about her though. Both my brothers spoil her rotten.
you know...i've been reading back through these last few posts and i've decided ....i live in the friendliest country in the world!!!
i don't go out anywhere without folks stricking up a conversation....young old....it doesn't matter...we scots are a nation of friendly folks!!!
last week i was in the city centre returning stuff and in the car park a lady in another car who noticed i was just arriving stopped and gave me her ticket to save me paying.....i then passed it on to someone else when i was leaving and the look on the guys face when i gave him the ticket was priceless......LOVE IT!!!!
it doesn't matter where you go here there is always someone willing to exchange a few words(usually about the pants weather) so though i may moan and groan.....i love my city and country!!!! IT ROCKS!!!
Good Morning Tracey and all you Ladies and Gents... Tracey, I wonder what makes your Country so different then ours in that way.
Things are good here, they just voted in the law here in the state of Maine to be able to have dispensaries and they have extended the medical illnesses on the list.. Tracey asked me if this will change things for me,,, Heck ya!!!!
Have a great day ladies,, Love you all
